These Run Huge
I love these shorts. They are made out of stretch terry and are incredibly comfortable. Having said that, two things to note, they run really large and are not terribly flattering if you have a belly. I do and don't care because I'm more interested in comfort.

Comfy sweat-pant shorts
Very casual, soft, comfortable sweats for around the house. I'm 5'5" and weigh 145 and purchased size medium. Size small would certainly work, too for a slimmer fit.

Extremely comfortable lounge shorts
Extremely comfortable shorts for lounging, kicking back and relaxing. Nice medium weight terry cotton material and great length. I would buy in other colors if become available. Elastic waist but drawstring is a plus. Runs a little large.

Super comfortable!
Great shorts, super soft and comfy. Runs smaller than the sweatpants. Am usually a medium or petite medium, but took an extra small in the sweatpants and a small in the shorts to get the right fit.

These shorts run large so size down! Also they are heavy like sweatsuit fabric so too hot for Texas weather! But under the right circumstances they could work well. I will probably purchase the tops and matching bottoms this coming fall.

Worth the investment if you’re into lounging
I love these but size down. I originally ordered the black in my usual EF size medium and I kept them but ended up ordering two more pairs in a small. I am in no way, a “small” (only in EF am I a medium) but they look so much better and still have plenty of room. I wear them daily. Probably too hot for Az summers but can wear the rest of the year with a sweatshirt. Love that I can wash and dry without a second thought.

Liked them but . . .
I loved the fabric but the shorts flared out at the bottom of the leg opening, in a funny looking way. Also felt that the fabric was awfully heavy. So for $148, I decided they weren't worth it.

Swimming in these shorts
I tried sizing down as was suggested, but the style of these shorts is just too voluminous for me. I went down two sizes but the legs are just SO full that it didn't look flattering. Fabric felt great, quality was up to EF standards, but this style just didn't work k for me.

Comfy shorts
I ordered these shorts because i recently had surgery for a ruptured achilles tendon and will need months of PT. I thought these looked comfy and they are and they slide easily over my cast. Pockets are really deep too which i love. They are perfect for my needs.

This whole Organic Cotton French Terry Line has literally become an addiction with me! I have almost every piece, in every color. Eileen's back! Not only are these the best representation of who Eileen Fisher is, they are cute, cozy, comfortable, perfect length, (not too long, or short, and I am 5'5"), flattering and easy to care for. They also fit true to size, which most items in this line do. They don't wrinkle, and are perfect for almost every warm weather occasion. All of the pieces in this collection are interchangeable, and I have many, in almost every color and iteration. I purchased all 3 colors, with the matching tanks, (these are fantastic as well, and look great with the shorts), and the High Collar Jacket, from this collection, tops off the outfit perfectly. I will be getting a second pair of these shorts in each color, which says it all.....The items in this line are going fast, so jump on these while you still can!
