FIVE STARS, but I am too short.
These are beautiful! Wonderful color an fabric. I did return them, though, only because of the pleats asI am too short to have any extra fabric in the waist-hips. I should have realized this, but I had found these so attractive that I ordered anyway. Others who can wear these should definitely wear them and enjoy them!

Very nice casual transitional pant
This smooth fabric pant is great for when I want something more than denim, but with a relaxed silhouette. Pants do not have a waistband, but there is great shaping and well-designed waist lining to add structure. Very nice piece.

Nice Quality
Pants are good quality and nice material. Saying that I gave them 4 stars because they are not right for my body type. I carry most of my weight in the waist and not much any place else. The waist was too tight for me and uncomfortable. I weigh 150Lbs and ordered the size 16 which should have been plenty roomy but was not.

Leg is a bit balloon-y but fit is comfy as a knit
Most of the Eileen Fisher pants I have purchased have been pull-on, in either linen or knit. The denim pants, with fly front, are nearly as comfortable while being more structured. I expect they will be more durable than the knit pants and possibly more durable than the linen ones. As for style/shape, the denim pants are more voluminous through the legs, accentuated by the taper at the bottom, but the fit is so nice and easy, I would not sacrifice the comfort by trying a smaller size.

Good at the sale price
Thanks to previous purchasers for recommendation to size down - 2P instead of 4P was just about right. Not 5 stars, because so far they've needed ironing after each washing.

I So wanted to love these. The fabric is soft but the fit is blah. I typically wear a size 6, but was able to wear a 4 with a nice fit in the waist. The pleats are just not flattering.

I'm always on the lookout for EF petite jeans ! These are interesting in that they have a slight elastic back waist which I appreciated since they were sized unusually as S, M L . Nice fabric and I always appreciate a little stretch. I have several EF jeans that I've had for years and continue to wear because of fit, comfort and quality! Please keeping making more petite styles in all your clothing especially pants but also consider offering a XLP.

I bought these in Pearl, and already have these in Barley and an undyed natural color. I love the fit. Size down - this is generously sized. For instance, I usually wear a 10 and bought these in a size 8. You will not be disappointed! For everyday wear, get these now!

Almost Perfect For Me
I love the weight, barley color, and fact that these don't have a waistband! I HATE waistbands since most dig into me. I didn't give these get pants a 5 star review for a few reasons totally due to my body type (1) the waist band is perfect but hips are a bit baggy for me. That is because I have smaller hips compared to my waist (2) the back pocket placement is wide and makes my butt look a bit big. I wish the pockets were a wee bit closer together. Other than that, love 'em!

Would prefer a flat front instead of the pleats.
These are a comfortable pair of light fabric denim pants. They are however a roomy and generous fit with the front pleats and the extra room in the hips and thighs. I ordered a 2 Petite, but I honestly think a 0 Petite (Not available) would have fit me better. The pleats do poof out when I sit. Overall these pants are more casual and comfortable. I love the material, as well as the overall construction, including the perfect taper, the seat, and the back pockets. I am keeping them to wear on casual days and around the house. I hope that EF will offer the same tapered pant with a flat front in the near future. I might also be tempted to order another pair with the pleats if they were offered in a 0 Petite.

Great color and material but …
Loved the color pearl and the material. But the fit was off. The legs fit great, but the poofiness/bagginess around the lower abdomen was too much. I tried the pants on over and over figuring out if I could keep them, but even a longer shirt didn’t cover the poof and a tunic isn’t right for these pants and the poof would have pushed out a tunic. Maybe a redesign using the same material and color is in order.

Awful fitting pants
The absolute WORST fitting pants ever & all I ever wear is Eileen Fisher! The waist is so tight they could hardly close & the rest of the pants were so baggy they would have had to remove half the fabric.

Love these comfy pants - bought in size 8 and fits just right. Material is flexible and lthinner than denim, easy to wear. I also bought an undyed pair from a department store, same size, same style.

Classic!
I have fond memories of this jean style from the '70s. This modern EF version works nicely for my stout body type. Doesn't accentuate my round tummy like the flat front jeans. Love the barley. No cons at this time.

Got them in 3 colors
These trousers are so sturdy and nicely-shaped, I got them in 3 different colors and have been wearing them constantly. They are pretty, perfectly comfortable and wash well. I would definitely recommend them.
