The fit was good but the legs were ridiculously wide. I am a big fan of the lantern pants and was quite disappointed.

Live jeans in lantern
Love the lantern jeans. However size up from your normal lantern size. Waist is too small. Everything eLse was good. So when i sized up the pants were just too big
But i kept them love style
Also shouldn’t the zipper/button fold in the opposite direction?

Love these Pants
I agree with the previous review these pants are fablous. Great constrution and fabric. Please make these in all cotton Denim they will sell like hot cakes. I will be the first to purchase.

Frustrating sizing
I don't understand how pants with a 35" waist are meant to fit people with a 30"-31.5" waist (size Med on the fit chart). You need a good fit in the waist to pull off this silhouette. Adding a star for the gorgeous color and great construction, but they're still unwearable.

So pleased I purchased a 2nd pair
I was so pleased with my purchase I got myself a 2nd pair. I am 5’5” & weigh 190 lbs., the size XL fit me perfectly. I have purchased size 16 high rise jeans from EF multiple times in recent past and this is same fit. I love the higher rise, the weight of the denim, the deep pockets, the line/profile of the leg and especially the hue of the rye (brownish/gray?). I can pair it easily with most shades of blue, purple, orange, gold and of course white. If you wear size 18 I would suggest you consider 1X. Can see myself wearing these until they fall apart - value for the $

Lovely Features!
Have purchased this style in the past. Had to go a size up this time, but it's still a very flattering style and love the color. Glad it has belt loops and some stretch.

Wonderful denim pant
Received these denim lantern pants in the mail today. Rye is a wonderful, fresh color. These pants are a nice weight, have side pockets, and a seam from the pocket line. They hold their shape well. The length is just right on my 5’7” frame. They run true to size. I usually wear a 14 or 16 and XL was just right. I love lantern pants anyway and having them in denim is a nice d addition to my EF wardrobe.
