A classic collar shirt with a button front and subtle A-line shape. With forward side seams and slits at the hem. In an exceptionally fine organic cotton with stretch.

Not quite long enough.
For me the petite was just too short and given the swing nature of the shirt, not as becoming. The style(except for length) and fabric are lovely. If it had been a regular and not a petite, I probably would kept. But decided to return it.

Lovely Shirt... Fabric a bit thin.
Shirt really skims the body. Fabric is lovely and soft. Ilove the oddly angled side slits. Would have been 5 stars if the fabric was a little less see-through.

Perfect white shirt
Always on the lookout for a crisp white shirt and this fits the bill. I have a broad back which usually renders button down shirts useless, but since this one is nice and billowy, there are no gaps at the buttons. Ordered my usual size small and while oversized (by design), I think it looks terrific. It helps that I am 5'8" -- not sure how it would work if I was any shorter.

Beautiful gracious cut
In addition to the mix of classic and funky cut, I love the quality of cotton. That slight touch of stretch to cotton has made the fabric feel smooth and luxurious. I am very happy with this classic but not so classic white shirt.

nice cotton fabric
Took several attempts to get size correct. Color is a deep saturated black and the cotton fabric is light but not see through. Looks good with my pale skin and grey hair.
I kept because it is a more unique design than what it appears---it's flowy and looks kind of like maternity clothing of the 60's.
It looks good with slim pants, but would never work with leggings(too short).. Washed it, and doesn't need ironing for my taste. Prefer to purchase made in US clothing, so will no longer be spending much of my clothing money at EF.

A good shirt
Purchased in white. Fabric, buttons, stitching all excellent quality. After self laundering, I can attest to both fabric and style as unquestionably high quality. The "forward" seams are unusual, but not a downside to the style.

Organic Cotton Swing Shirt
The organic cotton fabric is very nice and I really like the swing style which I was unsure about. Still looks good even under a cardigan. I'm 5'7" and the length is perfect. I always wear an XS but have returned for an XXS. Decided I'd like just a tad smaller in fit and hope it's not a drastic amount.

White cotton shirt
I’m 5,5” and 140. Ordered the PM and it was narrow on top and tight in sleeves although usually PM is perfect for me.
The quality and style were nice but not for me. I returned it.

Lovey material, challenging fit
The material is beautiful - not too heavy and not to thin. The fit is really challenging. I could say it's too large but then it's too small and bunches under the arms. Unfortunately I had to return.

Flattering Shirt
I’ve had an EF shirt similar to this for many years. A favorite. The boxy shape and hemline length is flattering for me (plus size). Can wear it buttoned or a open over a tank. Runs just a bit large but I like that.

So nice I bought it twice.
After I had received this shirt I read an online review complaining about the fabric. Huh? I think people forget how light and comfortable a REAL cotton shirt is, since there are so few on the market. The complaint was that the fabric was cheap. Lightweight cotton of the kind this shirt is made is hardly cheap; it is actually hard to find In fabric stores. There is NOTHING that compares to an airy, attractively styled cotton shirt on a hot summer day. I am too old to go out sleeveless at my age, so a shirt like this does the job, as I am a stylish dresser. It does run large. I had to return the first one for the next size down. And then I bought another one in white.

Waste of Money
MAJOR disappointment. This maybe the very first time I have ever said that about anything from Eileen Fisher. The design and cut are perfect. The fit is perfect.The fabric is cheap looking and feeling. I attended private school for twelve years during the Middle Ages. I wore a white blouse everyday for twelve years. Every blouse I ever owned was of better quality cotton. This is almost transparent and will require full armor underneath. The price is outrageous.
