For the Fall 2026 Design Edit, we worked with generational classics in modern proportions, crafted in our tried-and-true fabrics. This cardigan is so beloved, we're bringing it back for another year. Our design team says it earns its place on the edit by being our most "borrowed" piece by daughters, sisters and mothers alike. It fits close to the body without being tight, in a mohair yarn we've used for decades—so you can be sure it's made to last.

- Ravyanshi is 5'8" and wears a size XS in Pearlescent, which measures 21 inches on the body. Size PS measures 20 inches on the body. Ryan is 5'8" and wears asize 1X in Pearlescent, which measures 25 inches on the body.
- Size XS measures 37 inches at the bust and 36 inches at the sweep. Size PS measures 37 inches at the bust and 36 inches at the sweep. Size 1X measures 48 inches at the bust and 47 inches at the sweep.

My favorite cardigan
When I saw this cardigan in pink I bought it right away. I have the same cardigan from last year in 2 colors and really enjoyed how cozy and warm they were. I do not wear them without a top underneath as they are a tiny bit itchy . Whenever I wore them, I got compliments . I usually wear a PP in EF but in this style an XXS fits, and I did size up to an XS on one of the older ones as I wanted it a little oversized.

Mohair Plush Melange sweater
I love this sweater.and bought Kelp one too with help of family for my birthday..Color in the on-line EF site is different color pink than when I saw it in person. It was more a mavre color to me than a light pink.

Pros: beautiful color, great fit, loved the look
Cons: immediately scratchy against bare skin, limited to wearing only with long- sleeved shirt

Lovely versatile cardigan
This cardigan in kelp is what I hoped it would be: soft, medium weight, saturated vibrant color, nice proportions. Great fit: not too boxy or too close. Looks good w jeans or polished with a skirt or nice slacks. At 5’5” 139lbs, I am usually a S or XS in EF and the S is perfect. A beautiful piece.

These sweaters look lovely and has rich color, but
Had a sweater of the same blend a year or two ago. They look lovely with rich color, but unfortunately they do not age well. Will develop a lot of pilling even with gentle handwashing with appropriate gentle detergents. Looks like they have to be dry cleaned only. An expensive sweater to maintain to have it looking it's best.

A Lifetime Sweater
Beautiful sweater! I hope to own this forever. It is so soft. So classic. Flattering, even on my long torso (but average height body). My one note is that the green looked more true emerald on my screen, which is why I splurged on it. A lovely deep emerald color is hard to find in clothing. I was mildly disappointed to find that it is actually more of a teal color, leaning slightly toward the blue. Even so, the teal is gorgeous, and I did keep the sweater because emerald or no, I just love it. It is EF, so goes without saying that it is very well made with good attention to detail. Can be dressed up or down.
