What could be better in these uncertain times than one-piece dressing that’s conservative, warm, and comfortable? And in seasonal must-have chocolate brown! A winner!

Lovely fall dress
The deep brown color and fit of this dress is very nice. It isn't large, but doesn't hug the body either. Looking forward to cooler weather. One caveat is the turtleneck opening is very tight. I almost couldn't get it over my head. I am sure that it stretched out, and should be just fine next time.

A sweater dress for the rest of us
I looked at this dress for months, but never considered it because I’m as far as possible from the model’s body type. Then I read some reviews, which indicated it’s very forgiving, and gave it a try. I love the way it looks on me, plenty of forgiveness. Also it’s lightweight and seems not to be itchy. I’m 5’7”, and the length is low calf.
Looking forward to wearing it when things cool off.

Warm and comfortable dress
I wasn’t sure about this dress but it is comfortable and flattering. I was afraid the neck line would be tight. I folded it over and it looked good. This winter I will probably wear it with a scarf for color or necklace and leggings.

Runs large. I washed mine and it shrunk to a perfect fitted size. Soft, doesn't wrinkle, feels good next to skin. Great travel dress for Fall, Winter and Spring.

A sad miss
Unfortunately this style did not work for me.
The edging on the neck was just too tight.was hard to pull over my head and felt suffocating around the neck. Not the scrunched look or feel.
The color was great but the weight of the fabric too light for a long dress.

Beautiful and comfortable
It is comfortable, warm and looks great in zoom meetings. The color is beautiful and the fit is perfect. I’m shorter so like the longer length. It also work well as a base layer.

Disappointing fabric, fit
Wool fabric was soft but a looser knit - concerned that it might stretch/sag over time. I have many EF pieces but this dress was shapeless and unflattering - going back, sadly.

Stylish, light warmth
This color works. I had first ordered the brighter color to counter all the black and charcoal. Unfortunately is was a cool tone and did not work with my colors well, at all. The brownstone is nice, too. Material is light, yet has enough weight to flow nicely. I wear it with a light silk slip dress, otherwise it sticks to my tights. Lovely warmth.

Simple, Flexible, Comfortable Dress
Fit me perfectly in my usual size, with slight A-line for loose comfort through hips. Very lightweight so that it can be worn in 3 seasons. I purchased the light-colored version, but I like the simple style enought to intend buying it in black as well. As other reviewers have mentioned, the fabric is thinner than was expected, & I wonder whether the dress will hold its shape well through numerous wearings.

Gorgeous style
Love love the brownstone color that is a good replacement for black and the natural fabric in this sleek knit dress that hits below the knee that is so becoming for a women in her 60s. I am a athletic 5'4, 110 pounds and kept the petite small to have a little more room in the arms. It flows and is a beautiful pattern fabric that is not too itchy. Please make more knit dresses like this as it is so attractive and feminine.

My New Eileen Fisher Dress
Love the look and feel of the dress. I ordered a PS runs a little big and I fear it will stretch bigger. But at this moment the Brown color and fabric feels like something I’ll get a lot of use out of. Love Eileen Fischer clothes for at least 30 years

Soft, Washable Wool
I tried the Merino Scrunch Neck Dress in Regenerative Wool in Maple Oat and Dark Brownstone in the Nashville Retail location. Loved the fabric, the warm colors, the gentle fit and the length. Had this been a crew neck I would have purchased both. With disappointment they remain in the store. I cannot fault the dress or designer because a scrunch neck is not flattering on me. As a substitute I purchased the Merino Pencil Skirt in Regenerative Wool and coordinating Crew Neck Tunic. For reference I am 5'9", 160-ish, 36B. Size small fit my curves.

Disappointed!
So disappointed. Dress was not at all slim fitting like the picture. Dress is very wide from waist down. I ordered the oats color before I open the box to see the black dress I purchased. Looked like a dress from Dress Barn. Please find the staff that designed the Fisher Project beautiful pieces years back and rehire them please. Pretty please!

its a great dress but not slim fit. I wear xl and had to send it back for a large. The wool feels good and it will be great with short boots. And maybe with a great belt too.

A bit too itchy for me ...
The color was more brown than deep burgundy, hence the Dark Brownstone color name, but too brown for me. The fit was great but the wool was a bit itchy in the neck. I returned the dress, sadly.
