ultra soft , non itchy, just gorgeous.
One of the best purchases this year from EF. Got an oatmeal in medium and hazel in small. I also bought the sweater made from the same wool, in all three colours. It is this amazing. Probably best fit on a slim body shape due to some chunkiness and weight. Looking forward to wearing it next winter here in Toronto.

Beautiful, quintessential Eileen Fisher
This is a beautiful garment, quintessential Eileen Fisher. Beautiful fabric, rich color (I got the hazel), classic design. I am not a fan of the boxy style; this cardigan is fitted and is very flattering on me. I ordered by typical EF size and I found it true to size. This is a warm sweater with a bit of heft to it but I've been wearing it around the house--where else am I going to wear it?--very comfortably. So pleased with this purchase.

Wonderful classy cardigan with some heft to it
I'm very glad I got this cardigan. It has a more casual look than the classic merino cardigan, but it is soft, comfortable and well designed. I bought my usual size and I think it fits slightly smaller than the other EF cardigans, probably to compensate the additional thickness of the knit. I got the oatmeal, and I wished it came in other colors (besides black), like charcoal, light gray, midnight and cassis. I'd buy them all.

Soft Wool, Flattering Shape
Really soft wool and perfect weight for at home in New England. Surprisingly not too weighty for the thickness of the knit.
Love the oatmeal color in contrast to my usual winter dark colors.
When EF does semi fitted they really do it right. This cardigan is nicely fitted at the shoulders with slimming raglan knit pattern, it narrows to the waist and slightly flares at the hips. Very flattering on my 5'4", 130 lbs, hourglass figure. I am ready to give away all my cashmere Boyfriend cardigans which make me look like a potato!

Warmth to Last for Years to Come
What a heavenly sweater! I was looking for a very warm, merino wool sweater to take the chill out of these winter days, and I found it in this sweater. I liked the Maple Oat one I ordered so much that I went back and ordered the one in Black. Wish I could order the Hazel one, too. It is substantial but not too heavy sweater that helps make winter days pleasant. Love the pockets. The length adds to the warmth. You get what you pay for.

Dream Cardigan
This sweater has a warm heft (but is _not_ overwhelmingly heavy), feels remarkably soft and luxurious, and the hazel hue is gorgeous in person. It's perfect tossed over a linen blouse or cotton tee with jeans or crepe pants. It also layers well under my boiled wool jackets from previous years. I hail from the Midwest and now find myself in the Northeast in the United States, and I think this is the perfect fall/winter cardigan. If it were available in more colors, like charcoal and cranberry and goldenrod, I'd want to buy every one of them. (For reference, I typically wear an XS in EF sweaters, and I find this TTS.)

Every Closet Wants This Sweater
Years ago I bought an EF sweater at on outlet and it was the start of my appreciation of EF clothing. I wore it year after year and in recent years took it to my tailor for repairs. I have often thought about reaching out to ask if it can be made again.(I still have it but it has seen better days) Well, here it is but this time with pockets! It was out of my price range but with a promotion I was able to secure one and I hope that you are also. It is a beautiful design, luxurious fiber, thick enough but not at all bulky. I wish the whole world could have this sweater. Thank you
