A wardrobe staple for the ages
This is my third time buying this skirt from Eileen fisher. I first bought one of these about 20 years ago and bought a second one about 10 years ago. As I wear the skirt pretty much once a week all year round, ten years is a good stint and it was time for a new one.
It wears like iron goes with everything, packs great, and always looks fresh — outstanding value for the money.

Beautiful Merino Wool
I am a fan of merino wool fabric. The skirt is a nice wool skirt that will last for years with gentle laundry care. I am 6’0 and wear an xl in Eileen Fisher. However I ordered a petite large due to skirt and dress in this fabric runs extremely large and it was perfect. It is not as long as the regular size large but is not too short. Perfect length. I have the merino wool dress in all 3 colors and now working on the skirts.

Great length and material, but size is off...
I bought this skirt in two colors, same XS size, but the maple oak one fits like a Small 9least 0.5-1 inch wider than the dark brownstone one. I hope this is just an labeling error, and hope someone can help me get the Real XS in maple oak...

Knits are keen!
This skit is the best! Im pear shaped and knits are not always my friend. This skirt hangs perfectly not bulky even though its wool. The skirt can also take you through 2 seasons.

Love every thing about this skirt
The brownstone color is a great neutral for me. The knit fabric drapes beautiful. I am 5'4,110 lbs. and the petite petite fit the best to hug my body a bit. I love the matching knit top and wraps. Please make more colors in this style. The style is feminine and comfortable.

Gorgeous Skirt!
I was hesitant to purchase a wool skirt for my moderate climate, but this is a lightweight but substantial skirt for now into spring and for the fall. Love the ribbed feature but would size down because ribbed items tend to expand with wear. Great to dress up or down with the matching ribbed sweater, or a favorite EF top.

Love, Love, Love It!
I hesitated to purchase the Merino Pencil Skirt in Regenerative Wool because I have curves. I finally broke down after reading the reviews and I love it! This is not a curve hugging pencil skirt but skims gently. The length works for my frame, similarly to the photos. I took a medium to ensure a forgiving fit at just shy of 5'9", 165 lbs, 36B. This styles with tall Frye boots and short booties successfully. The black silk jersey tee looks great with the Deep Brownstone, as does an EF brown silk jersey tee purchased a few years back. Yeah! I love that this washes easily and wears warmly but lightly. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I am waiting for the for the matching Crew Neck Tunic to arrive after I tried it on in the Nashville retail location. (Robin order the correct size for me once I saw how the length was a perfect combination. The EF skinny wrap and Obi belts change up the look when I want more definition. My only problem, now is that I want the other colors. Great job Eileen Fisher!

Worth every penny. Very versatile.
This is a beautiful, well made and useful skirt. I have been wearing it so much since it arrived I may be having to purchase another one soon. Please keep offering this style in this knit. If it helps you to decide what size will work for you, I am about 5’3”,
130 lbs. and the small petite was the perfect length and fit.

Great knits
LOVED the combo! I did the skirt in medium petite runs true size and I did the crop top in medium. Both items in oat color. My daughter loved and wanted in black but Corp top didn’t come in black so did same top but longer and both petite. Definitely fits true to size and looks good no matter age or size. I’m 63 and my daughter is 32.

A Knit Skirt My Behind Can Get Behind

Favorite new skirt
A lovely comfortable skirt. I bought a wool pencil skirt on sale last winter that is so soft and a beautiful green color, but it is nearly ankle length on me. There weren't any petite sizes left at the time or I would have exchanged it. This one is the perfect mid calf length on me. I love it and I'm sure I'll be wearing it a lot for years.
