The best sweater EVER.
I have 3 of this style: 2 in black and 1 in cassis. It is by far my favorite sweater and I wear one of them weekly if not more. The wool is sensational: it does not itch and I am super sensitive. It washes like a dream: in cold water in the WASHER and dries flat overnight. The cropped length is perfect over wide leg pants and jeans. These sweaters always look new and never pill. Please, please next Fall/Winter make one in navy, charcoal and restock the oatmeal for me in XS.

My New Go To Sweater

Lovely wool sweater
This is a lovely sweater, the fit is perfect and I like the cropped length, it’s flattering. The color is beautiful too, neutral but with a lot of warmth . The feel of the wool is smooth and soft, it will not feel scratchy like other wool. Am very satisfied with this EF purchase.

Soft and Elegant
Delighted with this elegant sweater in maple oat. Surprisingly soft, with no scratch at all and the turtle neckline holds its shape. It looks best (on middle-aged me!) with a dress or layers to make the best of the unusual cropped look without displaying any flesh. Devastated though that EF has closed its UK/London stores, which were so friendly, helpful and classy. Hope you reopen in the future.

Got in every color
Wearing this (in black) as I write this review and I have only praise for this sweater. The feel, the drape, the shape, even the cropped length is great! This is perfect over a silk cami, a tank or a longer silk layer. I loved it so much that I got it in Hazel & Maple Oat too, on sale & with an additional discount. This style will be a favorite for years! Win/win.

Lovely Fabric Weave BUT Ends There
What? So are we twelve now, sorry but really? The weave of merino is excellent, beautiful, wow. If only the bodice length had 5-6 more inches this sweater would be perfect. Raising the arms as you would in any second of life's duties, Hello!!! Reveals a good 10 inches of bare midriff up to bra. Hmmmm Really??? No on this one.

Fashionable, different!
A beautiful, soft merino piece that I use as a topper over the variety of Eileen Fisher tunics I own. Bonus for me that I can still access the pockets of my tunics while wearing this sweater, too. Its billowy, a-line shape makes me feel a bit more elevated in style - I can use feeling a bit more fashionable during these days of balancing work, hybrid schooling, and the dreary (near end, hopefully!) winter.

Warm, stylish coverage
As usual I am very pleased with my purchase and it was on sale too! This soft, cozy and stylish turtleneck's length compliments the high waisted corduroy pants I also bought, since it's cropped - it does not cover any part of the back patch pockets, creating a very clean look, yet it is long enough for modest wearers, who don't want their skin revealed at the waistline, (That's me.) Eileen never fails at fabric that drapes well. Fits me perfectly! (XS)

I wanted to love this, but it really seems to only be pairable with the dress it’s shown with. I’m short-torsoed and thought it would be a perfect waist length. I tried with high rise jeans - No, other pants- No. just an odd length. Not like classic EF box top length.

Strange neckline
I loved everything about this sweater except for the neck, which didn’t fit me at all like the model. I tried my regular size and a size up and found the turtleneck much too restrictive. It also started awkwardly low and wouldn’t stay folded over. A disappointment as it was a lovely sweater otherwise.

Wonderful top!
This is a wonderful top. I am very hesitant to buy wool tops online, since they mostly itch on my skin. This wool is wonderful woven, looks very luxurious and no itch whatsoever. I wear it with another layer underneath, a long no-collar-shirt, or by itself with high waiste bottoms. The color is easy to wear and goes well with browns, greens, orange or neurtral botoms.
