Beautiful but pills too quickly
Love this sweater and color, but wish it didn’t pill so quickly. I own another in different color and it pilled but not on first wearing like this one did. Color is beautiful and sweater is warm, and I bought in S as petite wasn’t available. I’m a PM. Other than sleeves being a little longer the fit is fine.

Beautiful color
The Delphi color is so beautiful and the neck and shoulder detailing is lovely. However, it was too bulky looking and long. I tried to order a size down to medium, but alas it was sold out. The description—basic length is really hip length.

Stunning sweater
I chose the red and I know I’ll get lots of wear. The rib will help the sweater keep its shape and it’s roomy without being too oversized. A really cosy addition to my sweater wardrobe and I’m also pleased to be purchasing something that fits a more sustainable approach

A really great sweater
I love this sweater, it fits perfectly. I am 5 foot two And gotten extra extra small. It is very soft and comfortable. I got it in green and black. Only minor complaint it seems to be pilling a little and I hope that doesn’t get too bad.

Anxious but glad I purchased it
I purchased this sweater in Poppy, in my regular size, after I read all the reviews. I was a little anxious because some of the reviews indicated issues with pilling after just a wearing or two, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to upgrade my look.
I was delighted by how soft it is, and it was supremely comfortable when I wore it. I haven't noticed issues with pilling, but I was also *very* careful with it and took it off promptly after work as I wanted to protect it. It was just a hair larger than I anticipated, but since I throw a T or tank top under most sweaters, it worked well for me. Absolutely recommend it.

Excellent Christmasy “Red Poppy” merino crew neck
Have enjoyed the EF Shaker knit in other colors and styles so was pleased to find the lovely Christmasy Red Poppy crew neck version. The wool wears well, hand-washes well (Eucalan wool wash) and needs only occasional de-pilling to keep it looking nice. Size Medium fits well for 38G bust size and the length is just right for my 5’2” height. More coverage than a cropped length which often hits me at an unflattering place.

Fit and color work well
Great red color and the fit, tunic length is perfect. I'm a little puzzled over the loose knit, being accustomed to the tight Marino wool sweaters purchased in the past. The new sweater will need to be layered to be warm enough for western NC.

Fabric needs improvement
I liked the style and loved the color. But the wool “sheds” and I had little red threads all over my undergarment upon first wearing. It was apparent that it would “pill” which I dislike. So while it would have been a valuable addition to my wardrobe, I returned it.

It’s a beautiful shade of blue.
The quality of this wool sweater is excellent. It is very soft. It runs true to size. I’m 5’6” and weigh about 145. I’m big busted and usually buy a medium or large. The medium fits perfectly. I recommend this sweater.

Wildly Disappointed
Gorgeous off the rack. But doesn't hold its shape and it pilled/snagged by third wearing. Astonishing low value for price point and brand expectations. I can wear it around the house now, but will never be able to wear it out. I feel like I threw my money away on this piece. Do not recommend.

Best pants ever

Had to return/size down; lovely sweater
I usually wear a petite M or L. Yet I had to return the Medium (doesn’t come in petites) and try S because the M looked frumpy on me as it was so oversized — however so glad I tried again, as the S is great.
This size surprises me as I am 5’ 1” and 162 pounds. But S looks ten times better than the M. It’s a winner for me!
The friendly, almost-silky drape of this sweater, is very forgiving, flattering, and supple almost for a chunky knit sweater. It has great drape yet also some “give”
to it. Yet not clingy. And very soft. (Surprised for merino which sometimes is rough? Feels more like a mid-weight silky cotton than a merino wool!)
The green is a great color. Neither overly dark and dreary as some EF colors are in other pieces, nor too bright. Just nice! Love this!!
Happy happy happy that this covers my derriere and lower abs/tummy — while draping nicely, not clingy. But not drowning me either! :-)
I measured the S — it is 27 3/4” long when measured lying flat — comes to just almost bottom of my (rather large) butt-cheeks in back, and just to the bottom of my crotch in front — which i like as approx my perfect length for sweaters and t shirts and —and with E-F — is, in recent years, increasingly impossible to find.
(Most tops that EF refers to as “basic length” cut right across the widest area of my butt, mid butt-cheek, and also expose at least half of my menopausal paunchy abs — something many of us ladies have bemoaned in reviews — OR halfway to my knees when “longer length — even in petite versions — which looks absurd ; [and forget about cropped/shorter length which, even in my petite height as I am not comfortable with; i can’t figure out “who” in the realistic E-F 50-plus or 60-plus demographic wants their cropped shorter-length items?])
SO I hope the EF designers will see this: this one is perfect once I sized down.
Hats Off to E-F on the length of this, and I would chose now thus EF size more often but normally the bust or biceps would be too tight — and then sizing up, shoulders and upper back would be puffy-out in both misses and petites.
For some reason this sweater hits the sweet spot for me in every way.
Really beautiful fabric too. I think it is the drape and the way the shoulders are at last “not” a drop shoulder —with lots of extra fabric hanging everywhere — but a true shoulder seam that sits correctly “on” the shoulders while a forgiving fabric with both stretch AND drape.
I will order in other colors! Again having figured out that I should size down in it to Small.

Beautiful sweater!
The color of this sweater is a perfect green, and the fit is perfect. Not voluminous, but comfortable and beautiful. I bought it in an XL, my usual EF size.
