Perfect Sweater staple.
I only took this sweater off because it got too warm. It is a wardrobe staple for me and it goes everywhere with everything. Dresses and pants and skirts. And I'm short so I love the length of it!

Nice wool style but fast worn-out knit
The first time I wore this nicely styled loosely ribbed knit cardigan, it snagged and after only one wearing, had pilled all over side and u der-sleeves to look like a thrift store find. Not up to EF standards. From now on, I will avoid this type of knit in the future.

Gorgeous wardrobe piece
Hip skimming thicker yarn yet refined knit with details around the opening. Simple style is collar-less and without buttons. It hangs easily and the yarn has a sheen without sparkle that dresses it up for going out and about. I got a gold color and have worn it with black for a night at theatre but could dress it down with denim and a blouse for lunch. I love it!

A perfectly executed cardigan
This black cardigan checks all the boxes. It’s warm, has a thicker but not chunky knit (it basically looks ribbed all over but in a symmetrical, grown up way), and drapes beautifully. The boxy cut suits me and the open front angle somehow pairs with the collar to not make me look like a hulking mass of shoulders.
The pockets are cute and add interest that (I pray) detracts from my big belly. Sometimes I’ll throw my phone in the pocket but really at that point it just swings into things like a weapon as I move about the house, given that the pocket is rather shallow and is, after all, just sweater material.
This is one of those pieces that allows me to keep the faith in Eileen. Perfect in every way. Like my boiled wool jacket from 2007. These are the pieces that keep me
coming back, even when the ‘in between’ purchases are less than perfect.

Unexpected quality
There must be something wrong with the materials or product treatment. It looks good in the picture and looked Ok just after it arrived. I never wear new clothes without rinsing it. After I carefully rinsed it and made it dry in a flat rack as per instructions, it became out of shape no matter how hard I tried to restore it according to several suggestions on Google . I can say this was my worst shopping experience since I became EF clients. I have to return it.

Lovely to touch
This is a remarkably soft sweater. That’s the thought I have each time I put it on. It’s a slightly heavier weight knit so it is warm and should keep its shape over time.
