I am a solid size 7N and had read the reviews so I ordered a size 7.5. I had to return and get a size 8. This shoes runs very narrow for the “toe strap” which worked great for me but may not for those with slightly wider feet than a narrow.

I got them in black and the leather did stain my feet - the only problem I had with them, however, it seems to go away with time (I probably wore them around 5 times by now...).

Unfortunately, I packed this pair of shoes as a go-to for a conference abroad only to have the back strap break off after literally five minutes of wearing them for the first time. I then not only looked incredibly un-pulled together at a work event due to a broken shoe, but also wasted over $100 on a pair of sandals that didn't even last five minutes. Terrible quality Eileen Fisher.

I usually can’t wear EF shoes because I have a narrow foot. While the width was fine, the length was short. Unlike other reviewers, I found them uncomfortable and don’t think I could wear them for any extended period of time. I love the style of EF shoes but, despite numerous attempts, can’t find any that fit me.

As far as comfort is concerned, I haven't worn them out yet, so it is hard to comment on that., but from just trying them on, they seem comfortable, and true to size. Buyer Beware, though: They are on the Narrower side. My feet are narrow, (so this is a great thing for me), but it might not sit well with everyone. They do seem like they will expand eventually, but are narrow to begin with...All in all, a great sandal. I love them.....
