needs redesign
I have a pair of all black low heeled booties that I purchased 3 years ago and still wear. They’re beautiful and elegant and have a sophisticated look that is not achieved with booties that have a brown component that detracts from the versatility and gives a distinct sporty ( almost dowdy) look to the shoe. Why is an otherwise beautiful black shoe spoiled with this arbitrary brown ribbing that only diminishes the attractiveness of the shoe. When i want a black shoe, i don’t want it compromised with brown. I

Great look poor fit
I’ve purchased 2 other pairs of shoes from Eileen Fisher that fit according to size (including similar sock style boot). However these London boots fit 1-2 sizes too small (narrow and too short). The boot needs to have a greater depth. I hope they can improve the design.

Attractive, but uncomfortable
Unfortunately, I had to send this order back. Just as several people mentioned before, the booties are attractive but uncomfortable. I bought a similar pair last year and it was excellent. This one tight and runs short.

Great bootie!
What a perfect bootie - as many have commented - the stretch fabric is superb - I have several different EF styles in the stretch and knew I would love these. Sophisticated style and so happy with the fit - I do always order a size up. Another in the win column for EF - tho do selfishly wish they offered in 'midnight blue'. :)
