Not just a piece of gauze
I was skeptical when it arrived but I wore it to an outdoor party on a very hot day (100 degrees and humid!) and was the only one without sweat stains. I looked great too. Gorgeous color (grey but very silvery).

Very nice topper
I wasn’t sure about this at first, but I wore it over a white tank and white pants ( bought the gray one), and received compliments, including one from a very stylish friend! The caftan passed the test.

Runs Very Large
This piece did not work at all for me. I am 5'5" (size 8/10) and was just swimming in the S/M size. The width was exceptional on me.

I LOVE this FABRIC!
I purchased this in white on sale. It was stitched up the side, which forced me to wear it only one way. It did not look good on me. I unstitched it up the side and now can wear it however I want - as a wrap, as a scarf or as a poncho that's open on both sides.

Linen Gauze Caftan
Just received this and have not worn yet, except to try on. I think it will be a fun, chic accessory to several outfits. I got the steel color because I think it can be worn through several seasons. I like it over my white pants and tops, and think it will be equally versatile over black or graphite outfits. It does run oversize, as mentioned, so I ordered small so as not to be overwhelmed. Looking forward to wearing it.

Too boxy
I really wanted to love this. Linen gauze is my absolutely favorite EF fabric. It is too boxy. I am 5'8". I looked like a tank. I think it might be flattering on smaller chested women. Also, I went down a size and it was still too big and boxy. Sadly, I returned it. I have a V neck tunic in this fabric and it is my favorite EF piece.

It’s elegant, I’m not sure it’s flattering for me, it looked great on my client. I’m tall and slim but it feels’frumpy’ on me, a lot of material!( I may try the XXS/S, I did order the S/M, which I will return).

Chic caftan to wear everywhere
Floaty design; cool, comfortable, chic, and becoming. It's already garnered numerous compliments, and I've only worn it twice. The fabric is gorgeous, and resists wrinkling, although it's linen. Casual with leggings and a cami; dressier with a short black slip. Five stars.

Elegant dress-down.
It was a beautiful overlay to a sequined white skirt and sleeveless top. I wouldn't have felt comfortable wearing sequins but the white overlay allowed the sequins to shine but not overpower.

Summer wardrobe staple
This goes over everything - loose pants and a crop top, slip dress, bike shorts and tank. It's perfect for the Texas heat. I sized down knowing that my normal size would be too large in this. Sizing down gives the garment a bit more shape through the body but still provides ample arm coverage.

Nothing to get excited about
I treated myself to this for my birthday with the intent to wear it over my Eileen Fisher tank dresses until I can lose a few pounds. First of all, this is literally just two yards of fabric with two side seams to make sleeves. I tried it anyway over a black system tank dress and decided it was not what I was just not a wow, especially for the money. When I took it off, my dress was covered in lint. So, no. Just…no.
