Linen Cotton Sheer Check Mandarin Collar Shirt
Designed with a great texture that can easily be dressed up, this lightweight sheer shirt is one I will wear over a camisole or tank when I want that extra coverage and the temperature is high. I envision it to also be able to be worn to a dressy function paired with a black skirt or pants in cooler temperatures.

Disappointed
Mid-summer, each year, I treat myself to a new white linen cotton mandarin collar shirt. I missed the word sheer when ordering this item. As I am short and carrying extra weight, I ordered the XL, but it's much too large. This top is so sheer that I would need to wear a camisole with this and/or perhaps something more substantial as the shirt almost resembles a thin gauze material. Temps will be climbing into the 100s and I am contemplating keeping it and wearing it with leggings. I am not anticipating it lasting through next summer. I am so disappointed. The linen shirt I've ordered for years seems to have been phased out.

Just what I've been looking for!
Love this shirt. Bought it for a trip as it looks great dressed up under a blazer, and also with jeans and boots for casual site seeing. Runs a little large. I vary between a S and M in most EF items, and definitely needed a small.

Versatile
As is typical with most EF products, great fabric and workmanship in this shirt stands out. It run large so could be used as a beach cover up, but I’ll probably pair it with EF white or navy tights this spring and summer.

Far too sheer in white
I see the actual name of this top is "linen cotton sheer check..." Well, that's accurate. This top is so sheer in white you can read through it. A skin-toned bra is clearly visible through the shirt, as well as the waistband of any pants you'd be wearing. I found the XL to be quite skimpy in the upper arms, shoulders, and sleeve length, continuing the trend in EF tops. IMO, the dropped shoulders look ridiculous in the sheer white fabric, as the very visible seams drape across your upper arms. I do appreciate that the back yoke is a double layer, with no rough seams, so perhaps I will repurchase when other colors are offered.
