Love Eileen Fisher
I loved this for a casual skirt but it might be too short for a tall person. Maybe make the slit 4" less and more people would buy it. The olive green was a very drab color so I returned it and got the khaki.

I purchased the Organic Cotton Terry Skirt in Khaki. The material is lovely, with a nice drape & a good weight for summer. The thin elastic waist fits smoothly without bulk. I appreciate that this skirt does NOT have pockets. I don't need the unnecessary bulk or to pull it out of shape. The A-line is comfortable and allows a good stride. I also appreciate the ease of care. The 34" length is not the most flattering. Nor do I care for the 14 inch side slit. High slits limit where I can wear the skirt while traveling outside the USA. Both issues can be easily altered. But more disappointing is the current trend in Eileen Fisher towards unfinished hems. They look cheap. At Eileen Fisher price points and for a company presenting itself as a capsule collection that will stand the test of time, this item will not. As a long time, loyal customer I am disappointed with this seasons offerings. All but this skirt have been returned. I kept the skirt because the khaki is a good neutral and I scored it on clearance. I would not have purchased it at full retail, nor kept it if I had. As it is, I will probably alter the length and therefore finish the hem. This skirt does fit as I would expect from Eileen Fisher. For reference, I took a size small. I am 5'9", 150 lbs. 36B.

Great summer/spring piece
love this simple skirt; it is SO soft, cozy but cool and lightweight. Perfect for hot summer days, and great for spring also. I’m dressing it up a bit with a satin camisole and linen cardigan for an outdoor concert, but I can also see it with a simple top and sneakers. I am 5’2”, and this is above the ankle on me. The slit is not too high, and the white color is not see through. I love the line of this skirt, very flattering. I wear a petite medium in EF, and this regular medium is a good fit for me.

Comfortable cotton long skirt
The skirt is fairly long, mid calf. It is cotton and very comfortable. I also bought the matching cotton blazer, both in beige. It is a lovely transitional outfit. It is difficult to find nice cotton like this.

This is an ideal travel skirt. I bought the khaki and it is so very comfortable - and it goes with everything. The fabric is light enough to wear into warm summer months with ease. Wouldn't mind having pockets - it's the one thing this skirt lacks. I'd LOVE it if the skirt were made in more colors!

Took off a star because the material is a little thin and wrinkly but the straight cut and side slit really elevate this simple skirt. Great with a beige sweater or white T and jean jacket. The matching jacket is a fun piece, too.

Elegant, Simple Terry Cloth Skirt
Black was not available in the store, so I ordered the black skirt on-line. It is a soft, terrycloth fabric. Easy fitting, with a left side slit. I needed a petite size; it does not come in petite. It will be easy to adjust the length with a stretch stitch on the sewing machine. There is a simple sewn line at the hem, and the fabric naturally gently curls.

Just one flaw: no pocket!
Nice, easily maintained fabric, fits my lanky frame comfortably, good length, etc. Please figure out how to add a pocket for future iterations of this basic skirt. I think you could also offer it in washable stretch chino-type cotton with, of course, my longed-for pocket/s. The only reason I'm downgrading some of the ratings is the lack of a pocket.

as soon as this skirt appeared online I bought both colors in petite small...I'm 5'2 and the skirt was too short and the side slit too high, so I returned both and reordered the black in XS..the length was ok but again the side slit was too high...I also thought the quality and construction were not up to Eileen Fisher standards...

Super comfy and easy to wear
I saw this in the recent update and gambled on the lighter weight terry. It's a delight! This skirt is comfy and true to size. I think it'll launder well. This iteration of the terry fabric is really wonderful. It drapes well but isn't so weighty that it will be hot in the summer. Really looking forward to styling this one in a lot of different ways. I would definitely buy again in other colors is they're offered (hint, hint!).

A skirt to love!
I was in our Eileen Fisher store and while at the register I noticed the skirt on the television screen. I asked where it was in the store and was told it was only online. As soon as I walked out I knew I needed it. I bought it in both colors and they arrived today. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM! bring this back every year in different colors and I will buy it. Flattering, soft, and will be great on vacation! Highly recommend.
