I have purchased the lightweight, cropped, organic cotton leggings for many years. Upon receipt of my 2020 order, I was surprised to find that this staple item was modified this season. I called Eileen Fisher to discuss the change and was told that the spandex content was increased and the legging length was increased by 1-1/4". I prefer the former product and wish Eileen Fisher would offer both. I would also like to purchase this legging in a variety of colors, but it is currently available only in black, white and navy.

Eileen Fisher is falling apart.
It was a bear to buy. Not in nearby stores, the website is a total mess, kept switching me to having”purchased” another product...taking bait and switch to a whole new level. And instead of elegant classic clothes, the “new arrivals” look like clown clothes.

A great replacement!
Not the original lightweight leggings that I purchased a couple of years ago, but a very close second. They are lightweight so I am very happy that I have a replacement for my original 2 pairs that I wore to death, well, not really death I truly enjoy wearing them to bed with an oversized tshirt, heaven.
I wear them with everything, an oversized shirt to just hang around or a linen or silk buttonfront long tunic to out with friends. They enable me to wear my created look even in warm weather.

I bought these pants in grey and black and I think I will try the white ones. They are comfortable. I always wear the same size in leggings from Eileen Fisher - I find these a little bigger in the waist.

Cropped leggings
In the past I purchased EF's Terry Tensil leggings in ankle length and cropped (petite). They were extremely soft, light as air, non-binding, beautiful leggings. I was told the cropped ones would be back in stock in April. Now I'm told, in the Fall. Definitely a Spring and Summer item. The ankle lengths were never restocked. I just tried the Lightweight Organic Cotton Stretch Leggings. They didn't come close. Sent them right back. I'm finding EF is having trouble with their restocking. I'm sympathetic to the difficult times everyone is going through, but this was going on even before the Coronavirus outbreak.

Not your workout legging
These leggings are a great companion to EF tunics or longer tops/sweaters. They fit well and hold their shape. I wash and hang to dry. I bought them at an Eileen Fisher store and was able to size down for the perfect fit for my body type.

First Pair of Leggings and Hooked
I was apprehensive purchasing my first pair of leggings. I have always considered them nice looking on the younger ladies so I wasn't expecting much when I slid them on these 63 year old legs. Much to my surprise, they are the most soft and comfortable bottoms I've ever worn. As for looks, I was delighted the fit was generous enough on my chunky legs that they did not fit like tights. Normally a size 16, I purchased the XL. I'm considering these a slight crop on my 5'6 frame.- a little longer than pictured on 5'10 model. The waistband is not constricting which should help keep the lines smooth under knits. I will be taking my cues off of Eileen Fisher's website on how to wear these. I gave up wearing shorter dresses years ago due to legs that look like road maps and perhaps these are the answer. In all honesty, they are so comfortable, I find myself resisting the urge to sleep in them!
