Creative and interesting piece
This is an interesting piece to add to a wardrobe…it is a bit long on my petite body…but the shape and material do not overwhelm so it actually looks great. It is also a warm piece to wear layered over a sweater. I like the color and the material as well.

Great vest
Purchased this vest in black, barley and butternut. It is the perfect layering piece. Can be worn over denim and dress slacks. All three colors are beautiful neutrals. The vest adds warmth and is not heavy. It runs large. My usual size large fit too full. The medium was a perfect fit. Very slimming with enough room to layer underneath. Can be worn with many things already in my closet. Perfect!

Butternut Rich
I purchased the Boiled Wool Long Vest in Butternut and it's a good thing my husband approves. I hate to take it off! The boiled wool is luscious, light weight & toasty warm. The 47 inches make it dramatic. It adds polish to the most simple outfit while adding finish to skirts & dresses. I even enjoy the oversize safety pin included. I use it not to close the vest but to hold scarves in place with a bit of panache. In short, an excellent purchase! For reference, I am 5'9", 165-ish, 36B. I tried Medium & Small as this is a layering piece. I kept the Small which remains ample on my frame. Medium gaped at the armholes. Butternut is a rich, fall color tone which works with almost every item in my closet.
As always, I appreciate EF shipping & return policy. I am able to try multiple sizes at home with negative repercussions.
Eileen - as with previous review, I would love to see this vest in Cypress - another unique neutral.

Like wearing a cozy blanket!
I purchased the black and barley color last year and plan of purchasing the butternut this year. They are super versatile. I throw the vest on with jeans and booties or sneakers all the time or can be dressed up with an EF wool skirt/dress. I buy both XS and S with EF and bought a S but probably could have gone with an XS too. I am 6 feet tall and 150 lbs. No doubt this will be a part of my wardrobe for years to come! Thanks EF!

Lightweight and simple
I bought this vest in butternut then the long sleeve cupro top in an almost matching color (not barley), and they look gorgeous together. The vest comes with a pin but I think it will not work with the width across the chest in the Petite Large. Petite length is perfect for my 5’4” , however.

Just beautiful
Just beautiful! This is just a really flexible piece that hangs perfectly, and is warm enough to keep out the chill while being extraordinarily light. I had doubts because typically boiled wool is not my thing-- I fear itchiness, but this is soft and smooth and is anyways an outer layer. Perfect! And I love the pockets.

Perfect mid weight layer
Perfect weight for brief outdoor winter walking and will be a great additional layer under a coat, perfect length for adding an accent to the two knit scrunched neck dresses that were my go to for meetings all year long. perfect for high boots. I can’t wait for the weather to cool off again. Armhole gapes just a bit in back so I think I could have sized down to avoid that but it’s boiled wool so I know it will shape over time.

Odd fit
I had hoped this stunning vest would lift my casual outfits to a new plane. Unfortunately, I felt as if I were wearing a sandwich board. The arm holes were enormous — and this was a size small. Had to send back.
