Boiled wool light weight coat
Had to go a size smaller. Perfect fit! Love this! I have been wearing it all winter since it was so mild in the north east! I have been wearing Eileen Fisher for years! It is always in style!

A winner!
I loved this coat from the moment I took it out of the box snd tried it on. Sometimes you just know…kind of like meeting the right person! It adds a touch of class to anything you wear besides being soft and cozy. The coat is not for seriously cold weather, but works well for chilly days when you need a cozy cover-up. I am 5’1” and 130 lbs, 70 years old and the PS is a perfect fit. A nice scarf adds a pop of color.

A very happy purchase!
Bought this coat in red and it has been a joy to have it! Just the right weight for those who live in warmer climates for for in between seasons further north. It looks just great, and the color is really a neutral since it goes so well with base colors like black, navy, grey and brown. Slides easily over regular clothes.

beautiful, versatile coat
I love this coat. Bought it in cassis. It suits many weather conditions because it is a lightweight felted wool, very soft and roomy. I can easily fit a sweater under it for more warmth; it comes with a covered pin to fasten it closed. It is a beautiful, versatile piece.

I feel like a movie star!
I was in the store the day this arrived and tried it on. I didn't need a coat, but I kept thinking about how beautiful it fit, it almost swings as you walk. Such a gorgeous color, simple but elegant style. It will be so much fun to wear.

Adriatic - Third Boiled Wool Purchase
I purchased the Lightweight Boiled Wool Coat in Cypress and Maple Oat last year. I wear them so frequently I couldn't resist the Adriatic version this season. I find the fit, length and quality to be identical. SOFT, zero itch, with a lovely drape. I wear these with almost everything: skirts, the full length boiled wool pants from last year, jeans, etc... through our TN fall, winter and spring. They keep my warm without overheating. The sleeves are generously long, which I appreciate. Often I roll the sleeves to 3/4 length to allow bracelets to show. I also enjoy the clean shawl collared front. I often accessorize with scarves with no fear of snags. However, the large, color coordinated safety pin permits closure if I need. Thank you EF for making such a versatile item suitable for tall gals & in gorgeous colors. For reference I am 5'9", 150 lbs., 34B. Small fits generously. I could probably take an XS but I prefer the layering options with my regular EF size.
Now please EF make the long, boiled wool vest in similar colors.

Great Jacket
I love EF boiled wool, so I was excited to see this coat in Cassis. I love wearing this for outerwear when it is not too cold outside, and also enjoy using this indoors for a cozy layer. I pair this coat with the boiled wool pleated pants in Cassis. This combination is warm, stylish, and comfortable to wear. At the time that I purchased, the Cassis was not available in my usual size XXS so I got the XS and found it to be oversized in a good way. Plenty of room to wear a bulky sweater underneath. And, since the sleeves roll so nicely, the sleeve length was not an issue.

Luxe and Stylish
I love the looks of this jacket with the midi merino pencil skirt and the merino turtleneck. But I found both this jacket and the top (but not the skirt) in my usual size L to be enormously oversized, so I'm re-ordering them both for size M.

SOOOOO HAPPY to have a different color!
