Beautiful color and fabric; unflattering cut.
Beautiful color and fabric, but cut is not flattering - it looks like a bathrobe! I was hoping this would replace a boiled wool coat I bought years ago that is finally ready for retirement. If the shoulders had been less droopy, it would have been more flattering. As it is, I felt like I would be walking around outside in a bathrobe. Unfortunately, it had to go back

Perfect
Ordering from Canada, I always hesitate but this was something I couldn't pass up. It is all it says. Wonderful that it comes in petite, fits beautifully and I love the burgundy colour. Great fabric, seams and side slits. The included pin is a nice elegant touch to keep it closed. Another week or two and the weather will be right.

Disappointed…returned.
I had such high hopes for this jacket but, was disappointed in the fabric and fit. Scratchy and thin…hung without draping nicely. I thought the look was not EF quality…disappointed. Returned.

Nice but quality could be better.
I love the colour and cut. The fabric could be of better quality but I'm not complaining at the sale price. I would hesitate to pay full price for the current quality of fabric.

Another favorite
I have four EF boiled wool jackets including the first Iconic one which was my first love. I just could not resist this cranberry beauty. It is so elegant and stylish, and I bought it on sale. I am 5"2 105 pounds and I xxs fits perfect. I could buy PP but I wanted it longer. I open my EF closet and smile. The best.

soft and rich
The red color is amazingly neutral and easy to pair with other EF muted colors. The wool is soft and pliable, more like a big sweater than a coat. I sized down to a MP size and it's perfect.

Wrapped in Cranberry
I bought this in the beautiful cranberry color. My closet now has five similar style jackets of different colors. They are staples in my wardrobe. This newest addition is sublime. Thank you, Eileen Fisher!

Almost Perfect Light Weight Coat
PXS is roomy enough for layering. Red cedar is a beautiful neutral. This is my second boiled wool. Snaps or buttons would make it perfect.

Beautiful coat!
I purchased this lightweight coat in the Red Cedar color and it is beautiful. The fit is perfect and very flattering. Because of the loose fit, this coat hides my large butt and hips which I love. This cost is designed well and the boiled wool material is of great quality. I bought this cost on sale and it was very affordable.

Read the description carefully!
This “coat” is nothing like the one from previous year's, which I pretty much wore out after daily wear over several northern Virginia winters. This one is more like a long sweater. So much so that the sleeves of a wool sweater get all bunched up inside.
It’s not terrible—just not what I wanted. And definitely not worth $428! The dark red color IS nice with my silver hair.

Eileen Fisher Clothing - Not Like it Used to Be!
The quality and workmanship of the fabrics and clothing has consistently gone down hill especially given the price tag associated with the clothing items. In the past, I always purchased Eileen Fisher products for the fit, style, and quality of the item. While the fit and style still works, the quality has gone down and the prices are consistently high. I'm glad that I buy classic items as I've been "shopping" in my own closet and plan to stop purchasing any more Eileen Fisher items.

Stunning red coat
I had one in green that moths invaded, so this purchase is a replacement. I wasn’t certain I’d like the red, but it’s truly closer to a subdued cranberry, and it’s beautiful. It’s just as stylish and comfortable as the green one bought three years ago. Also, with climate change, I find I wear this through the winter in a mid-Atlantic state. I’m so pleased I found this!

High hopes dashed
I wanted to love this coat, but I could not. The color was sublime, but the fabric had no drape and the sleeves had no lining. The sleeves of a winter coat MUST have lining so as to avoid the tug of war between winter sweaters and the coat sleeve. The cost was just TOO unstructured.

Bought it in two colors.
I loved this coat so much, I bought it in two colors.. It's not too heavy, but still warm enough for a chilly night. You can roll the collar up around your neck if extra warmth is needed. It drapes beautifully.
