Dream trench!
I've spent years looking for a trench that wasn't giving Inspector Gadget and this is perfect. Minimal but thoughtful detail, the option to belt, subtle pockets, great past the knee length, and a relaxed but not oversized shape. The onyx color is more of a dark slate/washed navy, which I much prefer to black. It's a really versatile, interesting color. I got my usual size PP and the fit is perfect for light layers- if I wanted to layer chunkier sweaters, I would have to size up. I was a little surprised that the sleeves are still too long, but it's not a difficult thing to have fixed because there aren't extra buttons and wearing them cuffed until then is still pretty subtle. Love and can't wait to wear as the weather cools down!

Purchased this expressly for travel in Europe in October. It is exactly what I'd hoped it would be--light-weight but would protect just enough against a fall chill or rainy weather, great color, not too much packing space needed and would be sure to become a favorite once home from travels. Love the fabric and the styling. Perfect.

A classic coat that fits great.

Just wanted I needed
Was looking for a lightweight trench style coat (double breasted but no epaulets, pockets, sash belt with loops) and this one was perfect. The ebony color appears more of a dark navy/gray color. I usually wear a PM but bought the PL so could wear with sweater or blazer. Not bulky so easy to pack in suitcase.

Nice coat

The only trench coat you will ever need!
This is the most perfect trench! It is lightweight and minimal. It hangs beautifully and is so flattering. Full disclosure, I love it so much, I purchased both the biscuit and ebony. Both colors are absolutely stunning.

Great Coat
I love this trench coat. It’s thin, good for my warm NC weather. It’s tailored but not overly, so it looks relaxed and fresh. I’m 5’4” and 140 lbs. a Petite Medium is a perfect fit.

Paper-like fabric disappoints

Long Windbreaker
Nice style, good petite fit, but it is unlined and the fabric is not soft. More like a windbreaker than a light trench. I am a true EF devotee, but this is rather expensive for the quality. Disappointing. Returned.
