For the Fall 2026 Design Edit, we worked with generational classics in modern
proportions, crafted in our tried-and-true fabrics. We took the box-top, a
staple silhouette of our brand, and gave it a simple turtleneck, generous
sleeves and minimal trim. It's plush and drapey in our fine Italian Cashmere.
Designed to be wide, so size down for a more controlled fit.

Italian Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater
I purchased this sweater in the beautiful Maritime color and will wear it with the long boiled wool vest in the same color. The sweater is soft, fits perfect in my regular size large and drapes beautifully. I like that the sleeves are roomy and not tight. This sweater will look great worn with jeans, a skirt or slacks. This sweater was a splurge but the quality of the Cashmere and versatility is worth it.

The Best Turtleneck
I tried this cashmere turtleneck on at the local Eileen Fisher store. I found the cashmere to be soft non itchy and drapes beautifully. The design has a slight vertical pattern vs smooth giving this turtleneck a modern twist . The sleeve is average length ,loose which I personally like in a sweater and this also gives an updated appearance but is still a classic design. The length hits mid hip perfect for any style leg pant or a skirt. I purchased the cobblestone. This color allows so many options as it is a beautiful neutral. I did size up from my usually small in a boxy style. My reason is I wanted a loose relaxed look not because of the sweater sizing. The sweater is wonderful example of Eileen Fisher iconic style.

Not like my familiar Italian cashmere turtlenecks
I buy these Italian turtleneck sweaters every time that there is a color that works in my palette. I was hoping that this one would be like all my others. Unfortunately it was not and had to be returned. The sleeves were strangely wide and bell like at the bottom and the sweater itself seemed shorter and wider than usual.

Perfect Italian Cashmere Turtle Neck Sweater!
The delectable cobalt color of this cashmere turtleneck is what first drew my attention and upon trying it on, I fell in love with it. Not only is it warm and soft, but I particularly like that it is a shorter length than most. Normally I wear a large or medium in Eileen Fisher clothing, but in this sweater I find that the small is perfect.

Disappointed
I have had this sweater in my shopping basket since it was shown on the website for pre-Order. I loved the color of it, and I thought I liked the style. I was disappointed in the length, the neck, and the sleeves. The color was lovely. It is not as soft as my other cashmere pieces, not sure why. I ordered the extra small petite and the length was OK. The neck was tighter than I would have preferred and the arms were sloppy looking on me. I am 5 feet tall, 110 pounds for reference.
