A modern take on the classic ballet flat. With an elongating V-shaped upper and low wedge. In a textured stretch knit made from recycled plastic bottles.

Great shoe
Loved the styling of this shoe; however, had to return because they were too small. I'm a bit baffled by a few reviews that said to size down. I usually take a size 9 but with EF I always take a 8.5. They were definitely too short. I might also add that I have a narrow foot and the width was perfect for me.

Ballet flats
These are cute shoes but I do agree with the other reviewers that the sizing is off. I have about 10 pairs of Eileen fisher shoes which are soooo comfortable. however I bought these in an eight and they were too big so I ordered the 7 1/2 and they were much too small.

Very comfortable and good looking. I did size up to a 7.5 from my normal 7 - all advice from fellow reviewers was on point! A perfect heel height, too. Theses shoes will get a LOT of use.

Comfortable and stylish
Super comfortable. Run a bit wide but great for wearing without hose. Wish they were bout iut a bit more on top, but they are stylish and I recommend them. They come with a cloth bag that is great for storing bread. Got them on sale. Not sure if I would pay over $100.

So comfortable
I needed a black flat that could survive all but the coldest weather in Boston - this was it!
I choose a 7.5 - they fit well with sheers, etc and mid-weight socks. I am always looking for a more safe sole and these wedge flatas fit the bill. Great looking yet unobtrusive - I love them

Don't know what has happened to EF shoes...
I give up- fit on EF shoes used to be great and is now terrible. Vert disappointed since styling is so nice. No more shoe orders for me.

Heaven stretch mesh flat
It runs very narrow and small. I ordered a half size larger as recommended and it was still too small. I really like The style of the shoe, but it really runs narrow and was very uncomfortable.

Stunning shoe but stretched out in heel.
Shoes look stunning but the heel stretched out quite a bit. I’m going to try an insert so that they will hopefully fit more snuggly. Shoes fit true to size.

Almost perfect; have to return for 1 basic flaw
I wanted to love this. I have both the Purl Bootie and Ankle Boots in this fabric, and they are a dream come true. This flat could easily have achieved "heaven" except for one thing... the back of the heal comes up way too high, and digs into the ankle. I put one Dr. Schols heel gel pad under the sole... still digs. I stacked two heel gel pads under the sole... that's over a 3/8" lift, which kind of helps, but doesn't alleviate the problem. Hmmm. If I could figure out this heel thing, this shoe would be perfect ballet flat: the fabric is super soft, but thick enough that it doesn't show your bumpy toes (like Arche shoes do), and flexible enough to be completely comfy no matter what width your foot is. It would be a perfect travel shoe... easy on/off at TSA, comfy, expands if you're on an international flight and your feel swell, etc. The V in the front makes your foot look very thin / smaller than my actual size 10!

Narrow fit
Run narrow/small. Ordered my normal size of 7.5 but feel tight through toe area. I think I would love if fit was correct.
