Useful little hand-held steamer
The Jiffy Steamer worked well when I tried it on a variety of fabrics from silk crepe de chine to wide wale corduroy. It did spurt water on the clothes as long as I strictly followed the instructions. I did have some trouble holding the steamer perfectly upright while steaming seams and hems but am still satisfied with the results. Although the instructions said that tap water could be used in the steamer! I used purified water because of problems I’ve had with similar products. I do recommend this product because the instructions are very detailed and well thought out. Do read them before using the product. I didn’t give the product five stars because I wish I could tilt it a little without spurting water.

Steamer heats up fast
About a foot long and 4.5 inches wide. Heats up very fast. Would be good for delicate silkyish fabrics. The handkerchief linen I steamed would have been better ironed.

Great Little Steamer
I bought this steamer a couple of months ago. I find that it works well. It heats up quickly, is easy to handle, and cools quickly after use. Although I have a larger floor model steamer, this one is just handy to reach for and use at a moments notice. I generally use purified water, but nice to have the option of tap water. It is a quality product.

This is a question, not a review
This looks great, but it obviously needs electricity. Does it have a plug that can convert to foreign power with an adapter? Or is it useless when traveling outside this country?

It does the job, but isnt amazing.
This thing is definitely convenient, it take the wrinkles out of things pretty well. The only down fall about it, is you can’t turn it every which way, it has to be straight up and down the whole time which is very annoying. Other than that, def gets the job done without having to get the iron out.

A must have - light weight with max water filled:)
I am so happy to purchase Jiffy steamer for my favorite EF wardrobes:)
When I use my regular iron, sometimes I can notice the water marks on the garments.
Even though there is no ON/OFF switch on the steamer, I still highly recommend to my friends.

Love It!
Love it! This steamer heats up quickly, works easily, and cools down in reasonable time. It does especially well with linen and washable crepe closet crinkles. I've used it multiple times. The steamer I had stayed in its box in the cabinet because it was cumbersome to use, and heavy. I've found a place for the Jiffy to be within easy reach whenever its needed.

No on off switch.
I really wanted this to work, but the only way to turn the machine on is to plug it in and off is to unplug it. I had to return it. I looked and looked for a switch there is none. Why a company would do this I can’t imagine.

This Steamer Works
Have tried several steamers, some at a very high price point. This is the first to work without spitting. The design is comfortable in the hand. The ability to use regular water makes it convenient to use, too. It's small footprint makes it easy to store. This was a needed purchase that satisfied.

Top Brand Steamer!
Always liked Jiffy products. It has good website reviews, and I agree this would be a handy steamer at home or abroad. Decided to return it because I am elderly and thinking about other options for safety reasons.

This product has wonderful design.
The design of this hand-held and portable steamer is excellent. It's not heavy or bulky and very functional. It can be stored inside a small carry-on luggage. The thing I like the most is that you can use the regular faucet water to refill the water tank to steam your clothes.
