front closure and side cargo pockets, in a textural weave made from organic

Wear with everything
I have three pairs of these pants in different colors. The high waist is flattering and they fit beautifully through the hips. So many wider leg pants are too bulky on petites. These pants flow beautifully. Plus they wash wonderfully.

Wrong Size Again
As usual, Eileen Fisher has no standard or quality control for sizing. Depending on each particular garment, I may need a XS, S, or XXS. It is very frustrating to go through the process of making a purchase then having to return it because it doesn't fit. And that must be very costly to the company. But this sizing issue has been going on for years and has only gotten worse. I like the styles, but my patience is running low.

Classic Cargo Pant with volume
I ordered a PS in black, which fit me, but I returned it because overall it was too bulky on my 5'1" frame. It was well made and a classic cargo style.

I bought these pants a few months ago and finally washed them. I am ironing them now and looking at the fabric and feel. I always have loved EF clothing for their gorgeous fabrics. The feel of this cotton is coarse. It feels like a utility fabric. Not what I'd expect.

Sizing is guessing game but worth the effort
Sizing takes a definite effort. Does I did my usual xl. Nope too small in the waist. EF suggested the 2x. Nope way too big but third time was the charm with the 1x. Was very much worth the effort. These are my favourite on repeat right now! Thanks to Diane at the Calgary story for securing these for me!
