Ruined by neckline.

Love lemongrass
I wouldn’t have this top if it weren’t for the excellent stylists at the Chevy Chase EF! I knew I didn’t like my normal size in this top. In a size M the arms and body were crazy looking. It took an XL for it to truly hang properly. Paired it with a linen jersey tank to hide my bra straps, pulled over one shoulder and Voila! Perfect! My office is unnaturally frigid. This piece will get lots of wear this summer. Glad I pulled the trigger on this. First pairing it with aegean wash freepeople good luck barrel jeans, yep, white pants are also a given. Not sure what else I’ll try, but this color makes me very happy and sets off my medium brown skin tone perfectly summery. Yay, me!

Keeping it despite wide neckline
Like other reviewers, I found the neckline to be too wide. But the color, fabric, fit, and quality are all great, characteristic of the Eileen Fisher line. I am keeping it and will either use a cami underneath or just put up with the exposed straps. I also bought a second one in lemongrass; bright! but fun.

5’9” model. WHY?
How can I tell what this would look like on an average height woman??? Why are you not using models that have proportions similar to at least 50% of customers???
The neck is definitely too wide as bra straps would show.

A solid wardrobe item
This top is exactly as pictured. I love boat neck tops and this one comes in a perfect bright white. It’s comfortable and I love that it’s organic cotton.

Neck too Wide
I love everything about this Cotton Terry Bateau Neck Top but the bateau neck. It was just too wide of a neck and my bra straps would show. Unfortunately I have to return.
