Eileen Fisher linen is the highest quality available. I live in the tropics so wear linen almost exclusively.

cool and lightweight linen!
I chose this long linen shirt because I thought it would be perfect for a hot summer, although it has been unusually cool and foggy in my area for the month of July. The fabric is fine & lightweight and the color is cool and soothing. The buttons are very small and look refined. The sleeves are long enough for my arms. I like the gathered yoke across the back of the shoulders because that design detail provides more fullness and fabric in the back which prevents the shirt from getting hung up on my hips. The Mandarin collar is wonderful (I love EF's Mandarin collar shirts!). I like the length. I love rolled up long sleeves. I selected size XL because that size in EF shirts fits me without being too snug and is just slightly oversized (which I like). For size reference: 38DD, hips about 44" and 5'6." Also, after this beautiful shirt arrived, I found an airy lightweight crinkled cotton scarf in the same cool color at Eileen Fisher Renew, which looks great with the shirt. The model is wearing the shirt with white pants, but most of my clothes are black, so I will probably wear it with black jeans, or black silk, with a black jacket or sweater.

Great shirt with some flaws
I really like this shirt but even though it is generously big, the bust buttons gap. I sewed them up but not everyone can do this. The shirt wrinkles badly. I can tolerate some wrinkling in my linen but this is very bad. Prepare to iron it or take it to the cleaners.

Love This Shirt
I purchased this shirt to mostly wear as a duster even though its s going to be great as a long shirt over slim pants. I really like the look of an unbuttoned long duster / jacket over shorts. I purchased my regular size (if petites are not available). At 5'3", the arms are slightly long on me, but not an issue since I plan on mostly rolling the cuffs. The Capri color is beautiful. The Mandarin collar is a nice feature.
