Smart looking wide leg pants
Flex Tencel Ponte fabric is medium weight and almost wrinkle free and great for travel. I bought this to match my other Flex Ponte tops. The elastic band is a bit thick and can get on the way. They could have used a thinner elastic band like the washable stretch crepe slim ankle pants which are my favorite. The side pockets will stay stretch open if you have any bulge in your waistline area. You have to wear a longer top to cover the open pockets. However, the pockets will stay flat for skinny girls.

Good weight.
Great pants with a good spring/fall weight: neither flimsy nor heavy. Fine with sandals or boots. Although the waistband is elastic, it is an overall smooth addition that is does not look bunchy or add rolls. The care instructions are "dry clean" but the M was a little long on me and the waist too big, so I hand washed and it shrunk in length and width just enough to make the proportions correct (5'2" and 130 lbs.).

Pockets affect look
Comfortable stylish pants, what you’d expect from Eileen Fisher but they have huge square pockets that i describe as ‘clown pockets.’ They are very visible through the white pants and ruin the look. I tacked them up in a triangular fashion and it improved the look. If they weren’t so visible I’d love having big pockets but they are a distraction. Even my husband commented on them

Why would EF create a new fabric that is "responsibly harvested" but can't possibly be responsibly worn because it needs to be dry cleaned???

Great comfortable pants for work or weekends
Love them. Fabric is comfortable and seems to wear well. I am wearing a (loose) 2x in these pants, although last year's tencel ponte pants (very similar style) is an XL. Have not yet had them dry cleaned - I plan to give hand washing a shot with fingers crossed. Love the wide leg pants and the slightly stretchy material. Wish there were more of them. Really hate the dry clean only label - hoping that won't be necessary or it will be deal breaker for future products. (In addition to the expense and chemicals worn next to your body, I just don't see how it could be considered environmentally friendly).

I bought these pants in the fall and they look and feel wonderful. I am 5’6” and bought a petite medium on sale, which is a bit different than my usual xs. I really like the light gray, it works with a lot of colors

Petite Large versus regular large
I ordered this in Petite Large and the fit is not flattering. The inseem in the large and petite large is the same measurement. The fabric is beautiful however I just can’t get in board because of the dry clean only care. Returning.

Good Choice!
These are great pants! I wasn't sure how they would look on my shorter frame, but I'm glad i ordered them as they are comfortable, easy for packing, flattering and stylish. The fabric, as with most Eileen Fisher fabrics...very nice. I ordered the Bramble color--I wanted something different from my usual black and gray...It's a good neutral.
