I bought them in black, tried them on, and immediately ordered another pair in 'ivy.' I love them. The fabric is the usual EILEEN FISHER multi-season, hard-wearing, and quality of texture Ponte. They fall from the hips with just the right amount of relaxed give in the legs, while still not looking tight or baggy. I am short, so I cannot wear wide pants but my legs are not slim, so this is the perfect solution for me.

Tanks are perfect & timeless

Great pants
These pants are comfortable, flattering, and easy to dress up or down. True to size. As one reviewer noted, they are not "straight" leg per se; they have some swing! But the photo is accurate.

No elastic waist
I love the fabric and straight leg design. But I assumed - wrongly - there would be an elastic waist. No, it's a zipper. For this shapely 3X, I am so much more comfortable with the elastic. Why can they not offer the pant for a full bodied 3X?

Style and versatility
These pants are comfortable and the style is suitable for business wear as well as business casual. The fabric is a beautiful weight and texture, and this is one of the few Eileen Fisher offerings in a full length pant. The only downside is that dry cleaning is recommended unlike the washable strep crepe that is perfect for travel.

Missing the discontinued washable style!
I was looking for replacements for my well-loved black EF knit pants with yoke - seems to be only available in ankle length these days - not everyone can do that.
Anyway, these looked like a good option and I ordered multiple pairs with high hopes -
The good - as always with EF pants, very flattering on my curvy figure.
The disappointing - the "straight leg" are WIDE.
Even more disappointing - "dry clean"?!
I am returning all but the pair I have already worn, and those I will probably alter.
EF, why did you discontinue the pants that so many women love and swear by?

Not Eileen Fisher petite I was expecting
I ordered Petite, these pants were not the same length as the Petite pants I have received in the past. They were too long. In addition the zipper front was not mentioned in the discription.

These were beautiful pants but some of EF sizes have been off for me recently,I usually order a small in pants but these were too big, so I returned them. But I love EF clothes and every day I wear something that is an EF brand!

Great pant for a curvy figure
I wore out my old ponte straight leg pants and bought these. Wow, these were fit great for my curvy figure. True to size. Not too wide at the bottom of the pant leg. I did have to hem up the pants about 1 1/2 inches to fit my average length inseam to wear flats with these pants. Keep the ponte pants in your line, EF designers. They are warmer than my washable stretch crepe in the winter but light enough for 3 seasons and definitely dressier.

Petite?
never before had a problem with EF petite but this one was 4-5 inches too long. and the waist was only half elastic--being in the back. sadly, didn't work for me and had to return.

Such a well-made suit!
These ponte straight pants are so flattering and sexy I look forward to wearing them to work. I also bought the ponte black blazer that also makes me look good. The cut is right on point and both pieces are extremely comfortable to wear all day long.

Not the right fit for me
I have been wearing EF straight pants for years because they’re so forgiving for a figure like mine. This year’s iteration with the fly front, however, wasn’t for me at all (emphasized my middle). I had to return them even though I loved the fabric and everything else about the fit.

Lovely fabric and fit
I have almost every pair of Ponte pants that EF makes! I have purchased a professional stand steamer to avoid dry cleaning. With the steamer and home dryer dry cleaning sheets, I should be able to avoid dry cleaning almost completely. I didn't want to miss out on these Ponte tops and pants so I also invested in sweat-blocking undergarments as well. Totally worth it!

The fabric bags out in the knees, destroying the drape and the back gathering does not lie flat, nor do the side seams, which gives the pant a cheaper look than one would expect from Eileen Fisher

Huge!
I ordered size pp and it is huge everywhere and very long. The waist band is the correct size, but not the rest if it. The material is beautiful. Too bad the cutting is not like the picture.

Great style and fit
The fit is comfortable. The style and fabric of this pant works very well for business and business casual occasions. My only wish is that they were washable, like the stretch crepe fabric, instead of requiring dry cleaning.

Fits for sml waisted/big booty gals like me BUT
The new EF tencel flex ponte fabric is DRY CLEAN ONLY. That is a deal-breaker for me. And given all the lengths and costs EF goes to in their effort to make more environmentally conscious clothing, dry clean only is a big no-no. Not everyone has access to alternative dry cleaning methods and the typical petroleum-based cleaning solvents are v. toxic. So I returned despite a good fit. These are better for small waisted gals with booty like me, the waist of the L didn't gap yet the hips had enough ease. Too bad really. But I from now on, I will check the details to avoid like the plague DRY CLEAN ONLY EF garments.

Wonderful fabric! I love the feel and fit of these pants. I don't care that they are dry-clean only. If you invest in classic clothes that are quality and last for years, plan on taking care of them. For those that don't know, a steamer can work wonders to avoid frequent dry-cleaning.

Amazing!!
I bought these from Saks last week. They are nothing short of amazing! Plan to buy another pair. So very comfortable and can be worn very casually or dressed up!! Please make them in Navy and khaki! These will be my go to pant all year long!!! I would say I am not straight figured but also not curvy.
