Great classic top.
Wonderful soft comfortable lightweight fabric . Will wear with the silk skirts and pants. I am 5.4 and 108lbs. The XS fit the best with a slightly loose fit.

Turtleneck is problematic
To be perfectly honest, I'm not crazy about this. The neck doesn't stand up but curls up and collapses. The body of the sweater is fine, but I'm frustrated with the neck.

Almost perfect
I love the color, the fit, the warmth. However, it is not a turtleneck. The material rolls down and does not stay up - the neck material has no shape or substance. I have the sheer turtlenecks which I love. Alas, the charcoal in the sheer was no longer available in my size.

A workhorse piece.
This sweater is warm, thin and light. Perfect for layering with other sweaters. I use it as my airplane outfit with a cashmere hoodie over it. I ordered a size up.

Beautiful but didn’t work for me
I really wanted to keep this sweater! I love the redwood color and the rolled neck. I just don’t do well with the basic length. I didn’t like the way it fell with my lantern pants. I had to send it back, but I do recommend it for someone else! I will stick to the short length.

Nice quality sweater but itchy around neck
Nice sweater, material is light, somewhat see thru; runs slim. But I have to remember that even EF merino turtlenecks are too itchy for me, especially the tighter ones. For turtle necks, need cashmere, cotton or silk.

Love this top! Its very thin and not bulky which I love but still kreps me warm and its just cozy yet an elevated look which is important to me. Love the rich burgundy color as well, highly saturated and lovely.

Beautiful sweater in a small but I returned it due to the thinness of the fabric. I don't believe this will last a long time...also the collar was sloppy. The cost was too high for this piece.

Wanted to love it, but cannot recommend
The grey version (Medium) fit well in the store, but after washing the sweater felt scratchy on my skin and both the sleeves and neckline rolled up at the edges. I followed care instructions. When laying the sweater to dry, I noticed incorrect seams at the shoulders & sleeves. I’m looking for alternatives to EF based on repeated quality issues.

Finally, a slim fit!
I purchased a size small at 5'3, 140. I love Eileen's design aesthetic, color palettes, and commitment to natural fibers. But, I wish there were less boxy fits (even if that is her iconic shape) and more easy/slim fits. This merino has enough room without being tight but is more of a classic to the body silhouette. My only criticism is that the material is thin, and not thicker like past years (obviously to save $). Overall, if you like a slimmer non- oversized fit, try this sweater. The redwood is beautiful and very versatile, to wear with black, gray, navy, dove, etc.
