farms that practice better animal welfare and land management. It is not from
farms in our Argentina supply chain that employ regenerative farm practices.

- When good intentions go wrong—We had sourced regenerative wool for all colorways of this style, but due to a mistake at the mill, the fiber used for our black sweaters is responsibly sourced, but is not regenerative. While we’re proud of our team for effectively tracking and identifying the problem, we also know we need to work with our mill to do better in the future.

Casual to Dressy
Great travel sweater. Wore this on a recent trip. It was my staple piece - flight/dinner - casual to dressy. Worked well with all Eileen pieces. I was able to travel light.

OK, but material is lower quality.
I have a similar EF merino wool cardigan (about 6 years old) that has been a work-horse in my wardrobe and has not pilled at all. I was really hoping this would become my next go-to cardigan, but the quality is not the same. First of all, this is not 100% merino wool, it has nylon in it - a material I expect will break down with wear and start to show in the stitching as I've seen with other EF pieces. And the other big note is that the tag says it is 7% nylon, not 5% as is listed on the website.
That being said, the shape and look of the piece is flattering, but I'm not convinced the quality is up to the price tag.
