What happened?
I own three pairs of these pants (in Cassis, Seaweed, and Midnight) and these black pants are **nothing** like those. These black pants have a narrow, rolling elastic floating inside the wide waistband: the other three pants have equally wide waistbands where the entire waistband is elasticized, no rolling of the elastic. When I attempted to put these black ones on the elastic rolled in my hands -- not even on my waist yet! This black pair is also approx 4" longer (in the leg) than my other three pairs, all of which are the same (slightly cropped) length. When I put on this black pair they looked like palazzo pants -- just long. Long. Oh well, back they go.

These are great for an unusual pants look
Unusual but useful. I bought these in grey and the black/white box top looks good with it. So do the other box top colors. Nice soft drape.

My everywhere, every occasion pant
Elegant evening out, comfortable but classy pant for the theater or casual wedding. These pants always look like you're put together in oh such a wonderful way. Never travel without these pants.

Pocket problems
I love these pants, very comfortable. While I am in general an advocate of Pockets for All (Garments), I'm going to have to stitch these closed so the top doesn't persist in creating this fold that sticks out the side of me unless I stand still and smooth it down. It's unattractive! But I'm keeping the pants for comfort, though won't wear them in public arena, sadly unless stitching the top of the pocket down (thus defeating purpose of pocket) solves the prob

Comfy Cool Sophistication
Initially I was somewhat hesitant that the jersey would cling to my curves. Instead the pants were super flattering, comfy, and cool, even on a hot day. Black ballet flats or sandals with a fresh pedicure and you're good to go -- casual or dressy. Your choice!

Awful quality
I bought 3 x pairs of these in different colours and the black ones were 4” longer than the others so not crop length. The waist elastic was half the depth so didn’t fit in the waistband. Really bad and not what I would’ve expected from Eileen Fisher.

Flattering, comfy, drape
Holy cow are these fantastic! I am a petite (5'4") plump (w/lumps) apple; I bought these because I really like the color (Cassis) but did not hold out much hope, worried they'd be too long, worried the fabric would highlight those lumps. They are gorgeous and flattering (really flattering) and drape perfectly, hit an excellent length, comfy, and they have pockets! They do not cling to a single roll or lump on my body, they hit maybe 3" (maybe 2.5") above my ankle bone, so a flattering length made even more flattering with the side slits (I'd wondered about those and they are **terrific**). The fabric is lightweight so comfortable both during our recent heatwave (~100F) also comfortable today when it is 67F. I wear either a PL or a regular L in pants, and that is the right size for me in these pants as well.

Fine Jersey Wide-Leg Pant With Slits
I haven’t really worn or laundered the pants yet but they fit nicely and feel wonderful while bring worn. They’re extremely versatile in style and will be wonderful for travel.

great pant
love, love, love the pants with slits. the fine jersey feels so good and it moves beautifully when you walk. because i am 5 ft tall they come a little below my ankle rather than above my ankle. i knew that is were they would fall when i bought them. doesn't matter they are still my favorite pant. i feel so good when i wear them. thinking of another color to purchase.
