Excellent quality in a layering piece
I bought this piece and was pleased it worked out so well when I received it. Because I am a size XL (sometimes 1X) and over 65, I was concerned the neck might be too tight. But it is fine. The neck of the top stays up around my neck, but it doesn't squash or choke me at all. It's a nice, comforting knit that helps keep my neck warm in the cold, windy weather. The fabric is a fine gauge knit that layers nicely under sweaters, shirts, or other tops. It is well cut, so no pulling across the shoulders or bust. I always appreciate EF's fine quality. Now that it's on sale, it's a nice opportunity to build my wardrobe.

Tight Neck and Darker Color
I love Eileen Fisher clothes and own many of them, but I had to send this one back. The actual color is darker than what is shown on the website. Also, the body and arms of this top fit well, but the neck was tight and uncomfortable. I tried on 2 sizes, but the neck was tight on both. My neck is a normal size and I wear 16" chains without a problem.

A Beloved Basic in My Wardrobe
I love Eileen Fisher Scrunch Neck tops. They are basic to my cold weather way of dressing. I just hope Eileen Fisher can again start offering them in a greater number of colors as used to be offered.

White is too sheer
I am a loyal EF customer. I have this same turtleneck in two other colors. However, I am quite disappointed in the white version. The material is a significantly lighter weight than my other turtlenecks. It is very sheer. I can see details of my white bra through the material. It is not a sweater that I can wear on its own. It's fine as a layering piece underneath something else but that limits its usefulness. I've kept it as a layering piece, but for the price I should be able to wear it alone.

I'll wear it all winter
It's a great layering piece. Good fit. The "scrunch neck" is tighter than I thought it would be, technically I'd call it a "ruched" neck as there's stitching on the sides. An investment for sure. I bought it this year because tops I purchased 6 years ago are starting to show wear.

Perfect in every way!
This just arrived. I did the black in medium. My go to EF size is medium and as advertised it’s a slimmer cut but still a prefect fit. Length: perfect. Hits hip bone. Nice high scrunchy turtleneck. Fabric’s lightweight: perfect for layering. Body type: fit. 5’6” 155 lbs 36 D bust. 62 yrs.

Tencel turtleneck is light and washable
Very fitted but fine in this lovely cassis color. I would say this tencel top would be more flattering with a bit more room across the bust. I’ve washed it and it came out just fine. Would look great under a jacket.

Sold on the classic style, not on the knit
While I'm not a fan of the Tencel jersey knits, I needed a black turtleneck so I ordered this. I find Tencel "floppier" and less polished than the EF viscose jersey knits I've been living in for years. Tencel loses its finish with the first wearing, even with careful laundering, so usually I wear these knits under a cardigan or blazer. It appears that Tencel is gradually replacing viscose jersey in the EF line-- an unhappy prospect from my point of view.

Great t-neck!
Fabric is a nice weight. Perfect for layering or on it’s own. Skims the body nicely, not to tight fitting at neck. I’m 5’9”, 140 lb. and the small fits perfectly.
