I only wish that this piece was offered in petite
Good experience with purchase and delivery. I’m a petite (5’ and 107 lbs). I will have to have the sleeves hemmed. I appreciate the quality of Eileen Fisher and know from experience that the pieces have longevity and are worth the price.

Order your normal size.
Love the color and feel of this top. It’s crazy, but I have EF tops in everything from XXS to now a M (?) I must have read a review or two that said size up - so I ordered M when I would have been fine with S, but it’s fine, just has more of a slouchy (but not sloppy) vibe. Luckily I have an EF store nearby, so if the fit is wrong I can take it there. I’m 5’3”, 36C, straight up & down figure.
Goes nicely with the cassis and dark pearl Cozy Brushed Terry Hug Slouchy Pants.

I have an older version of this top with ruching on both sides. This one had none and no scrunch. Would love to keep it, but I know the neck will droop.

softest sweater ever
The fabric of this sweater is so soft. It’s thick enough to cover anything I don’t want to show. You need to consider getting a smaller size than you normally wear. In fact I bought mine two sizes smaller. It depends how you like to wear a sweater. I am 5’61/2 and normally wear a medium, sometimes a large top. In this sweater I bought a small and it is still very roomy because it’s a boxy styled sweater I. love that it’s washable.

Slim fit a bit too slim; silky fabric luxurious
I much prefer the pima cotton blend turtleneck top I ordered earlier. This top is a bit too fitted for my taste and the fabric is thinner. The quality of the fabric is top notch as is the construction, another fine product from Eileen Fisher!

Perfect neck, fiber, and layering.
Fiber is fine with gentle stretch. Will stretch enough to fit over bust or shoulders if needed. I got a 2x. The neck is not tight. I cannot wear a tight turtleneck, just can't do it, and this one doesn't bother me. It stands up but there is room for 4 fingers on each side. I am 5'5" and it hits at end of zipper on jeans but is not tight enough it looks poorly with leggings. Sleeves are plenty long, even if you are tall. The fine texture makes it good for layering, under sweater, vest etc. It is not thick enough to keep you warm on cold day but I think it will be ok for all but summer, and even then, is the perfect layer for those chilly AC rooms. Will look great with blazer, big shirt, shawl, etc. Color is deep and vibrant, intense and light absorbing with no sheen. I got it in several colors as this is a great basic piece.

Fine Jersey scrunch neck blouse
Lovely fit, color and feel. Overpriced even on sale and the neck sags. It looks unattractive after 10 minutes and I spend all day fiddling with the neck and trying to fix it.

Really Miss the Ruching Featured in Years Prior
Still lovely, smooth layering piece that retains its shape in gorgeous color assortment, but the Fall 2022 online description promised the ruching this model had previously integrated for years & the two colors I purchased this season, Woodland and Deep Claret to layer under EF’s coordinating velvet tunics in bitter cold weather, totally lacked this unique feature which is necessary to provide the body needed to keep the silky turtleneck up/attractively scrunched. Resulting look in this lightweight, silky jersey sags unattractively on necks, especially those upon which wearers may be camouflaging any lack of tone which may have become apparent from aging. Hope this wonderful yet missing feature, which warranted 5 star design rating when available in previous seasons/years, will be a candidate for feature restoration Fall 2023. The Fall 2021 model in color Ivy lacked ruching, too, I noted. Hoping to see this item offered with the ruching restored in wheat, bone, green gold, teal blue, wisteria, powder, thistle, & hibiscus in future seasons to add to my collection.

This definite runs a size small. I usually order S and it’s fine but this fits like an XS on me. It will be OK to wear under other garments though.

Perfect Fit!
I'm an XXS in Eileen Fisher tops. Usually, even that size is roomy, to very roomy, on me. This top fits perfectly!!!! I was SO surprised. Love it!

Each year I buy the EF jersey scrunch neck tops - always hoping for new, vibrant colors. This year no vibrant colors, but I ordered a few anyhow. The top seems to have changed. There is no longer ruched stitching inside the turtleneck to give it a nice shape; instead the neck fabric now just flops loosely in an unattractive manner. The cut of the bottom of the top seems to have changed too. It used to be a straight cut which looked very nice. Now it seems to have slightly more fabric and looks a bit dowdy. For years, this has been my go-to top - but this year I returned the tops, except one which sadly I had washed and put on before I realized the changes. Please EF, bring back the previous style with the stitched ruching and more youthful cut.

Fine Jersey Scrunch neck top
Love these jersey scrunch neck tops . Every season I buy a couple. They are great for layering because the fabric does not stick to your sweater or sweatshirt the way cotton ones do. The fabric is smooth and comfortable and they are great on their own.

Sleeves very short!
I've wanted a dark green turtleneck for quite some time so I thought I'd love this one when it was given to me. Even though an XS has always fit well, and some things I've purchased have even been XXS, this piece in XS is undersized. The sleeves are too short and it's not as long as it is pictured here, where a S size works for a 5' 10" model (I'm 5'5"). Since it was a gift, I can't return it now. If I could I'd order at least one size up - maybe two.
