A comfortable, pretty, versatile piece. Love the color! Happily surprised at how soft it was. Cute and casual on its own, dressier and more authoritative with a slim pant or a pencil skirt underneath. Fabulous on sale!

Color!
I bought the Athena color (bright purple) and really love it! Most of my closet (which is mostly EF) is black, grey or ivory so I love it when EF does color! I had read that this dress runs large so I sized down, but when I tried it on, it was too close to the body and did not drape well. Fortunately, they still had the next size up and it's a fit! I live in HI so bright colors are never "too much" and the airiness of the fabric is welcome. So it's a hit all the way around.

Beautiful colored casuadress for spring and summer
The Tencel Jersey Madarin Collar Dress is a nice addition for a casual dress to wear in the summer or perhaps springtime with a cardigan. The color is nice and bright and it fit me perfectly. I haven't worn it yet or washed it. but it is a nice change from the dark winter colors now and will be very useful once it warms up !

Athena is a beautiful purple
I have been purchasing Eileen Fisher clothing for decades and miss the bright colors that were often in her collections. While not a huge fan of purple, I purchased this dress in Athena and it is a gorgeous wearable shade. The fabric is soft and drapey and the style is flattering. A cheerful pop of color is much appreciated!

Good fit, thin fabric
I read previous reviews so I ordered one size smaller than I would have. It fit well but shoulder line makes the dress appear like a box on me. Not particularly flattering. I think it will be good for summer wear though, perhaps with a belt.

I'm usually M in EF dresses, -this dress Fit well in chest and shoulders,was flattering for upper arms but it looked too baggy, rather than flowy, on me from the waist down-Nice summer weight fabric. I'm 5 7 155 36DD

Mandarin collar?
I love the fabric and how easy it is to wear, but I wouldn't call the collar "Mandarin." To me, that implies a stand-up collar that goes higher than this does; to me, this collar is really not a lot more than trim. Still, it's a lovely dress with a lot of use.

Simple, flattering sheath dress can be dressed up or down. Love the easy care tencil fabric. Cap sleeves lay flat rather than sticking out like stiff little wings.
