I waited, debated and missed getting a similar vest last Winter in a vivid bright red. But snuggling now in my new Ruby colored one is lovely. It is light weight, soft and has super soft lining in the pockets. It is all the warmth I expect to need here in coastal California, but already becoming something I reach for often. And Ruby is a deep, elegant color.

Expensive, but nice
I used a dept store gift card to purchase this vest, otherwise I think I would have balked at the price. The vest fits me perfectly (5'9", 180, XL, wearing a sweatshirt) and the shape is pleasing. I like the fleece-lined pockets and cool neckline. While I love the beautiful red color, I decided to be practical and purchased the black.
