Love this darling vest
I did size down an extra size as it was suggested by many reviewers. Love the light weight embrace of this darling vest. I have an EggShell Jacket from last season so know how light weight the material is. It is not unlike a durable rip stop fabric, so do not think that it will not survive standard use. I have a 150lb. Great Pyrenees that has jumped up on me a few times w/EggShell fabric - no rips/no snags whatsoever. Perfect for March's warming weather or an additional layer. Love the cincher, the snap buttons - also very rugged, pull those snaps all you like w/not a worry, they stay sewn and stay put.

Disappointed
Wanted very much to like this, but to no avail. I believe this vest runs large. Purchased a medium...it was huge. Unfortunately, the overall fit was not flattering. I sent it back☹️

A nice warm hug
I wasn't sure about the hood on this gilet, though everything else was perfect so I thought I'd give it a try, and now I can't seem to take it off! It's just so light and comfortable to wear and sits neatly under my waterproof jacket to give that extra warmth especially when I'm out walking with the dog. Indoors it goes over any outfit and is a comforting hug. The hood is manageable.

black hooded vest-perfect
I really like this vest-I bought it in black as I wear a lot of black. Perfect for a California winter. You can dress it up/down, since it is a simple design. The vest fits nice, I'm a large and I will say it is on the loose side-good because I'll layer it over sweaters.

Pretty but was not what I was looking for
Admittedly I may have gained some weight with the pandemic, but I found this rather unflattering. While pretty, it felt too flimsy and light for me and not substantial enough. The buttons are attractive but I felt that I would need to be very careful in opening the vest. I cannot imagine it keeping you very warm, particularly if you live up North. I returned it and will look for a vest with a down alternative from a sportwear company. It may work for some, just not what I was looking for.

A rare miss by EF
I wanted a cute vest to wear in my cool house during quarantine. The material and craftsmanship are beautiful, but unfortunately, this vest is ginormous. I'm 5' 8" and a size 8 dress, ordered the small and I'm swimming in it. It's not a flattering look -- I look like a tall, blonde gourd. Concerned that if I went to the XS, it would be too short in the shoulders, so sadly have to send back.

Light and stylish!
I just received this, ordered in size S and M because I am never quite sure what size I am in EF...I did not even try the size M, the S is huge on me. I am a size 4 jeans and a size 6 top.
I really like the look and although I am only 5'5" I did not feel engulfed. I am however, returning both and getting the size XS.
This will be good under jackets in winter as well as on it's own inside. I love how lightweight it is.

I REALLY wanted to LOVE this vest, but sadly, I swam in it. Too much fabric, though the fabric itself is soft, light and lovely. Hope that the design can be perfected for next year to be more streamlined for plus sizes.

Light weight vest. Love the style has snaps to wear closed. And drawstrings to cinch in waist. You can wear it open too just ver versatile. Pockets have fleece lining and i use it for trips to market walking dog. Not to bulky to wear in car while driving and it keeps you warm even while being so light weight.

Eileen hit it out of the park with this one. I bought the vest in both colors, and the jacket in black. It's my favorite go-to for winter this year. The design is no-fuss, generously sized, super comfortable. I wear the 2X and for once the sleeves are correctly sized.

Hood Issue!
Tried in a store, and liked the fit and features, but the hood slides off and no way to anchor it on. Would recommend it if you don't have use for the hood.

Too much material
I returned this vest. Way too too much material. Made me look positively huge. Nice material and soft, but terribly designed. EF vests are usually quite nice fitting. Highly unusual.

Ordered medium thinking it would fit better over sweaters--too big overall, especially through chest. In addition, style was not good for me-- recalled an oversized bathrobe. Too bad. I have really enjoyed EF vests in the past.

Tall woman’s vest
This vest had too much fabric around the neck and surplus bodice. I’m 79 and am 5’5”;I was once 5’8”. I felt like a turtle with a very small head peaking out of its shell with the vest on. As much as I need a vest like this, I had to return it. I bought an EF black part sweater part nylon vest ten years ago. I have lost it and it is the template of the perfect vest. Please make it again.
