Good all around jacket
Great lightweight spring or fall jacket. Love the drawstring waist to give it shape. The hood is perfect for sudden rainy days. I would have given 5 stars if there was a snap to close up the neckline on a cold day.

Lightweight but warm jacket
Perfect lightweight but warm jacket! Purchased for early spring wear (temps in 40s-50s) in coastal area. Love the adjustable drawstring waist and the large draped hood. So fashionable! Love it.

Love this coat
This coat is lightweight but keeps you warm on rainy Fall to early Winter days. It has a silky texture. I think it looks modern and it's so comfortable to wear.

Great throw on coat.
This coat fits well. It is so light in weight and yet it is warm. My only hesitation is that I worry about the snaps holding up.

Lightweight Warmth!
What a surprise to find this coat to be practically weightless yet warm! The material is exceptionally wind proof as well. I ordered a Small and it has enough room for bulky clothing underneath. Sleeves are the perfect length for this petite woman! One downside is that it generates enough static electricity to power my dishwasher. I had a silk blouse on underneath and, when I took off the coat, it clung to me so badly I had to change clothes. (Snap, crackle, pop). Also, the pockets are secured within the lining using a "string" attachment from the bottom of the pocket to the lining. I'm going to alter it so the pockets are anchored at multiple points --- when I put something into a pocket, it pulls the coat at odd angles. Still....I'm a fan.

I had to return it even tho I loved it
I loved this coat but I returned it. It looked classy and it felt great but I just didn’t great in it. It broke my heart to return it.

Fabulous Coat
I've been wearing this coat for 2 weeks now and initially I hesitated about purchasing it because of a few of the reviews I read; however, this coat is wonderful. It's warm, light and looks good and I am a plus size so always concerned about looking big. The fabric is soft and light but not flimsy. The quality is excellent as usual. Thank you Eileen Fisher for making beautiful clothing for plus sizes.

Flimsy fabric
This jacket is very stylish but the fabric is very flimsy. Very disappointed lately in the quality of fabrics from Eileen Fisher and the prices keep going up.

Stunning and practical coat
Very well made, love the hood, goes with everything else in my closet - pants, skirts, 15 pairs of my EF boots (all of them). Comfortable to wear in the car, nice fabric. I am reviewing because I was surprised to see the low rating.

Makes me look huge!
Nicely made and so on, but too much material. Add hood and big collar. I looked positively huge in this vest.

Did Not Like
I thought the fabric look cheap and my jacket arrived very wrinkled. I was expecting waist singe to be on the inside not the outside ( which I now see on inspection of photo.)Sometimes your black items hard to see details in your photos.. Very open on neck, hood has no way to tighten and no purpose. Sloppy and cheap looking. Jacket is very, very light weight, larger on chest and more tapered on bottom. I ordered a PS 125 pounds. It runs a little large.

Here's the thing...
I'd buy this coat in a heartbeat; however, I have one from years previous (that I love) that has snap closures that I've had to sew and re-sew on since average use pulls at and weakens the nylon. Note to designer: zippers are more durable, particularly with a snap over-lay.
