My Favorite Sandal
I have these in bronze and black and love both. I wear them daily. I bought the bronze color first and loved it so much I finally broke down and bought them in black and I don't regret it. I have to agree with a review I read somewhere that the bronze were a a little stiff and harder to break in. That was true for me but it wasn't that difficult for me. I've found them true to size. In fact I bought my normal shoe size (9) and it's perfect. I usually go up at least a half size in sandals including EF sandals.

Wear-everywhere sandal
I'm often between sizes 8 and 8 1/2; some other EF shoe styles fit me well in 8 but the 8 1/2 was perfect for heel not hanging over back edge. As other reviewers have said, sandal is slightly stiff, but loosened up perfectly within several wearings. Purchased in Black several weeks ago and now have added the Sand. However Sand color not as useful with my mostly black and white wardrobe. Please, please offer in WHITE which I would wear as frequently as the Black!

Once Broken-in, a Comfortable Sandal
When I first saw these sandals on-line I loved them, but I was frightened off by the reviews. Then, on a whim, I tried them in the local EF store, and they seemed comfortable, but I still didn't buy them because of the reviews. Several weeks post shoe event, I bought them from the local store, and they are comfortable--and I am not a thong sandal fan. Because there was no packing paper in the box, I think they were either a return or so many people had tried them on in the store that they had stretched them out beyond the break-in point. So, don't be like me and initially put off by the other reviews. These shoes are incredibly elegant & comfortable.

Great Sandal Don't Give Up !
I'm happy to give positive feedback about this sandal ! I've read many reviews on this sandal both from EF and from Nordstrom ! I decided to give them a try and ordered from EF . I received the shoes and like many of the reviews they were very stiff when I first put them on ! I thought no way and put them back in the box. I kept getting them out and wearing them around the house because I really liked them ! The more I did the better they got ! This weekend was my first time out ! I walked in them all over town that day and everyday since ! I'm so glad I didn't send these back ! They go with everything and I love them !

Look great; horribly uncomfortable
I was so excited to purchase this sandal and was so sad when I put it on and couldn't take a step without it cutting painfully into the top of my foot. There is something very wrong with the design, at least for me.
I have numerous pairs of Eileen Fisher shoes and they are all super comfortable. Not this one.

stiff leather
this sandal is beautiful and the colors offered are perfect shades. however the leather is stiff so i anticipate forming a blister on the tops of my feet right above my toes because the edge is hard and stiff. also i expect soles that are softer and a bit thicker.
hopefully these will soften up! i wouldn't recommend these til the leather quality is changed.

Favorite sandal
This spring I purchased a second pair of these sandals (black). My first pair is a few years old and still in very good condition, so I am using that pair for around the house, and keeping the new pair for going out. This sandal is true to size, fits well, very comfortable, and my favorite of all the pairs of sandals in my closet. I'm now thinking about getting the same sandal in the Sand.

Beautiful Shoe
This is a lovely pair of shoes. I ordered the nude color and they are true to the picture. The only complaint I have is that the leather is quite rigid and hard on my high arches. I am breaking them in slowly, and hopefully by early summer they will be comfortable enough to wear all day.

Improved
I own a pair of these from last year, in Sand. They're comfortable, quiet, and versatile. Ordered another pair this year in Black, and am happy to see that the uppers are now lined so that the leather won't stretch out (last year's did!). I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, ordered the 8.5 then exchanged for a 9. The smaller size fit exactly but appeared precariously short. The extra half-size is comfortable and looks balanced.
