Best slides ever!

Cute sandals, bad quality

4th pair of the Edge, not as supple as older ones
Third pair in black and also have one in tan, so the style is a favorite basic worn for many years. I get a lot of wear from them before I need a fresh pair. I agree with other reviewers saying the leather is not quite the soft supple quality of the earliest version but the cut works well for me without discomfort and doesn’t need breaking in. I buy my usual shoe size length and wear a medium width shoe. The fit is just snug enough to stay in place easily but not too tight. Always feel well-dressed in this sandal in either pants or skirts.

Leather quality not the same
I have always loved these sandals but I was so disappointed when I received my new pair. The leather is very stiff and I ended up with multiple blisters on my toes. I have had multiple pairs of this same shoe and the leather was always soft. The quality was not the same. Very disappointing

Perfect flat sandal. I have three pairs in different colors. You can dress this sandal up or down. This sandal holds up very well. I would highly recommend this sandal, especially for the women that are over wearing heels!

Works with everything
I have 2 pairs of these sandals in different colors and will be buying more. They are very comfortable and hold up well with use. I wear them with everything except formal wear and they always look great. Unlike lots of less well-made sandals in this style, they don't stretch to the point where they start to fall off your feet or make a slapping sound with every step. They are seriously a great, versatile pair of sandals

Unwearable Slide Sandals
Neither the size 7.5 (my usual size) nor the size 8 fit my feet. I could not walk across the room in comfort. They are beautifully crafted and gorgeous to look at, but very uncomfortable. Maybe if a wide size were available? I returned both pairs.

Dye on Tangelo Slide coming off !
I own this sandals in three colors. I was gently cleaning the orange ones with plain water after the first use. To my surprise the dye began to come off on the cloth. I have worn the yellow and white one and never had a problem when cleaning them. I really like the slides, but concerned about results of the dye coming off on my skin during wear and perspiration.

They work!
I got the Iris. Lovely color. I have narrow feet and low arches, so I really took a chance on these, based on the reviews. I'm able to wear them, barely. Barely. If they were any roomier, they wouldn't have worked for me. I sure like them. They're very soft and comfortable.

May take a bit to break in if you have high arches
first day i wore these i walked 5 miles. My feet felt great but the thick strap rubbed and was tight on the top of my arch. I have high arches so it was uncomfortable by the end of the evening. I have been wearing them for shorter durations while i break them in.

I am over 65 and was worried about the support, but they’re comfortable, classic, and I wear them for extended periods of time. I wear a B width and sized up from a 9 to a 9 1/2 for a perfect fit.

What's not to love?
This is an Eileen Fisher classic and likely one of the best slides available anywhere. It's casual yet works for semi-dressy occasions, comfortable without being too unstructured, and its minimalist design is appropriate with all kinds of clothing. I love the versatility of the colors offered too.
I have wide feet with a high arch and instep, so this style fits me well and forms to the shape of my feet quickly. I'm on my third pair (in about 10 years) and hope this sandal remains available forever!
