Wonderful fabric but those snaps!
I love this fabric and color. But the snaps that show when the jacket is open is a non/starter for me. Even though the snaps are color coordinated with the fabric, I like to leave my jacket open more than closed so the snaps are not attractive.

Wool Cashmere Coat
What a beautiful coat, the fit and feel of the fabric is a winner for me. This is a fairly light weight wool/cashmere blend with ample room in the body and sleeves for a sweater or heavier clothing underneath. I live in a mild winter climate area so this coat can be worn late fall through the winter months. I love it!

Beautiful Cashmere Sweater
I bought the beautiful light blue colored sweater, Clearwater. I am between a medium and large in Eileen clothing and chose the medium size. It fits perfectly. I can't wait for cold weather to wear my new sweater.

Favorite light jacket

Great jacket

Lovely Short Coat/Jacket
Runs large. I wear a 10-12 in clothing but ordered a S in this coat and it fits beautifully. I can still wear a light-weight sweater. Soft fabric and not too heavy are attributes for me.

Great spring/fall jacket ,beautiful color
Great color, great fit, light and well made.I am a S-M in EF and the M fits well.Based on some of the reviews I initially purchased the PM which was too short overall and had to be returned.Many reviewers complained about the boxy fit but I find it very flattering and classy.

Perfect all round jacket
I love this jacket. I got the honey color. It is beautiful and perfect for most of the year in Colorado. It is not for the coolest days. It has nice snaps, and can be snapped all the way to the top. I am tired of the open coats/jackets. I have long arms and big shoulders and there is plenty of room to layer.

Doubleface Wool Cashmere is the best!
I usually wear size XL in EF tops, but this is perfect in the L. Luv this fabric and cut. The length of the body and sleeves is just right. The collar is fine with me short neck. I’m a short apple and dislike alterations.

Nice jacket but could be better
I am really on the fence whether to keep this jacket. While I love the doubleface wool, the roomy pockets, high neck, there is something about this jacket that makes it look off and frumpy on me (and I own many cropped jackets). I realized that it was the cut of the sleeves and the body. If there had been a bit more thoughtful tailoring, this jacket would have been perfect. For instance, slightly bring in the side seams a bit to give the torso a little shape and have a slightly more tapering of the sleeves, especially where it connects to the body. There is a fine line between a boxy look and a sloppy look. Unfortunately, in recent years, many of EF's boxy clothing items have crossed that line into the sloppy realm, due to poor designs and cut of fabric. I understand that Ms. Fisher is now back playing an active role in her company. I really hope that there will be a refocused attention onto the myriad of body types out there and the importance of a good cut to re-capture that silhouette that works on most, if not all, body shapes and for which Ms. Fisher is famous. I remember learning back in high school (yes, I'm that old and had to take home ec!), that a clothing pattern is not always exact in proportion for all sizes and there are subtle differences when cutting the pattern lines depending on the size.

Really classic look and material
Lovely jacket for late fall & early spring in my area when the temperature is upper 40s or low fifties. The honey (camel) color jacket is a very pretty and classic color with the white interior. I like the stand up collar which can also be opened and the shorter length of the jacket. It has snaps instead of buttons. I would have preferred buttons but the snaps are okay as the snaps are hidden. The cashmere/wool material is very soft. The drop shoulder means I can choose to wear an extra layer over my top, perhaps a sweater. And it's a nice length for a car coat.

the weight, color, and hang of the jacket are all perfect
I usually buy petite large but got petite medium and it was the right size
so I think u are safe to size down on it
