Lovely sandals
The leather is soft and pliable, the foot bed is padded and comfortable. The middle strap is to adjustable and so it lays a bit less than flat which can press unevenly on the skin after a long walk.

A good basic sandal
These sandals should be a good basic in my summer wardrobe. Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size bigger than usual and I'm glad I did. The cross strap nearer the ankle is a little looser than I'd like, but the overall fit is secure enough.

Defect
These are beautiful sandals in terms of the leather, overall design, and the barley color. However, the two pairs I ordered were defective. The strap nearest the ankle on right shoe was noticeably larger than the left. I ordered two pairs in hopes to find a fit. The problem existed on both pairs and it was not remedied by tightening the strap. I even have a high instep and sometimes find that straps across the foot are too tight - not with these. There was a good 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap between my foot and the sandal on the right shoe. It did affect the comfort as there was no support available from that strap. Unless there are pairs that are not defective, these should not be sold.

A linen dress and leather sandals
I loved the dress but I wanted it longer. I returned it. The leather sandals I bought, i was disappointed that the leather was not the smooth leather like EF shoes are known for. I have not worn them yet. I did not want to lose all of my birthday award.

poorly glued sandal strap
I love Eileen Fisher clothing and I am a regular at the EF stores or sections. A few weeks ago, I bought for the first time EF sandals. In fact, they looked so nice that I went ahead and got two pairs - tan and black. Unfortunately, after 3 days or during my first longer walk, a strap on my black sandals came out (it was poorly attached).

Runs Small
Unfortunately these sandals were too short for my feet. I regularly wear a size 7 so I would say these do not run true to size. In every other way - style, quality, color - I liked these shoes and I am very disappointed that they did not fit and the half size up is sold out.
