I loved this coat and got lots of compliments but after I had worn it a few times it started to wear terribly. Pilling but alpaca pilling in big fuzz balls. Really unfortunate be cause I can’t return it but it looks quite shabby. Would not recommend…

Lightweight, warm, head-turning!
This jacket is even lovelier in person, and goes from casual to work, to evenings out without missing a beat. The alpaca makes it lightweight, but surprisingly warm. And I have received many, many compliments on this jacket.

Beautiful luxury.
This coat is luxurious, beautiful and exceptionally comfortable to wear. It's both warm and light weight for a winter coat. I'm so glad I bought it.
On strange feature is the sleeves are unusually short. I never find sleeves to be short for off the rack items. This one is about an inch shorter than I'd like them to be. It isn't a deal breaker but certainly a disappointment.

AMAZING AND WARM!
I am so glad that I purchased this coat! At first I was concerned that it was too boxy but it is great for my Michigan winter! It is very warm (compares to the old days when I wore a mink coat). I love that it still feels relatively light weight when worn inside. I have gotten many complements when I have worn it.

Curly alpaca jacket.
I was lucky enough to purchase this jacket on sale. It is light on the body but hopefully warm as I did not get to wear it yet! Hoping that the curly alpaca doesn't unwind at the shoulder with a purse strap resting on it as one person stated. It is dressy and subdued luxury. I think I will like this jacket.

Lovely coat but sleeves are short
Pretty, lightweight wool coat, but for a tall-person, the sleeves don't come to my wrist. This is not the first time that an Eileen Fisher coat or jacket have shorter than expected sleeves and too much material in the back. Very frustrating and disappointing. Returned coat to store.

Eileen Fisher really missed the mark. “Boxy fit” taken to absurd proportions. Even the petite size fit like a potato sack. A shame really because it’s a stunning coat.

Perfect winter coat!
Wonderful purchase! Heavy enough for winter weather, but not terribly bulky. The coat is well-made and the material is beautiful. Fit is roomy - but not oversized. I purchased my regulas 1X in size and it fits great.

Very nice coat
Very nice looking. Light, soft, and warm. My only comment is that I wish it was a little slimmer in shape. It does hang away from the body. I prefer a slimmer fit. But I wouldn't hesitate a minute to recommend it and I'm glad i bought it. it's especially nice to wear if you are going to events where you normally keep your coat on, even inside as it is so good looking. i wear it with a colorful scarf and the compliments keep coming.

This coat, besides feeling luxurious, has a slightly roomy fit, enough for a sweater underneath. The shoulder width and armholes are well-calculated to allow movement without being too large. An expensive but long-term purchase.

Surprizingly warm!
I live in Michigan and I purchased this coat for fall wear. It is good quality and much warmer than I had anticipated. If I dress warmly underneath I think it may be OK for this winter, which is saying something in Michigan!

This coat is so cute, not too heavy, and somehow feels glamorous! I did have to pay a good seamstress a lot to shorten the sleeves three inches, but it is definitely worth it for this beautiful coat!
