Terrific
I expected this skirt to look terrible on, making me look heavy, but I had other items in this color and I thought this skirt would be a great addition - it is! I love the way it looks and the fabric is great, multi-season. I ordered my usual EF small and it fits perfectly.

Try it, you'll like it
I was surprised that I liked this skirt as much as I do. It is very well made w attatched slip giving it some body. The Seaweed Green color, silk fabric & pleating create a subtle shimmmer & interest. It packs well & can be dresses up or down.

A skirt that is easy to wear.
The fit is good, a S/P and I am 5-5 137 lbs. Love the color seaweed, however I waited for a sale as the price on the skirt and a suitable top were high for me.

Crushed Silk Habutai Tiered Skirt
Light and graceful skirt. The gathered waist adds bulk in the waist and hip area. I am 5’9” tall and quite slim, but I feel it is only flattering if I wear it with longer, looser tops. Otherwise, I feel like my hips look too wide and my belly sticks out.

Beautiful silk skirt
I bought this beautiful skirt in black and it’s so light weight, perfect for Florida. I love how it drapes, it’s a crinkle silk fabric that I can dress up or be casual with a tee and denim vest. It’s so versatile and comfortable. I absolutely love this skirt.

I tried this on because it looked so cute on the manager of the Northampton store. I usually wear a medium but it turned out to be fortunate they only had a large left because I'm fairly tall and the size gave me a little more length. I also have a pretty straight figure, so the skirt looks best on me with cropped tops, with or without long straight unstructured jackets or cardigans, and I especially love it with a short denim jacket. I'm actually surprised the skirt is so flattering; the crinkly texture elongates the body (maybe it's all those vertical lines) while there is one perfectly placed horizontal seam around the knee that makes the skirt hang beautifully. Based on what other reviewers have said, it sounds like the skirt works on very different body types. I especially appreciate that it can definitely be dressed down as well as made suitable for an elegant event. The seaweed color is drop-dead gorgeous. This is that rare year-round piece as it would also look adorable with a cashmere sweater and tall boots.

Crushed Silk Skirt to the Rescue
I purchased this for an event later on this summer. The fit is good, quality is excellent and it is slimming to wear. It can definitely be dressed up or down, depending on tops and accessories, so I feel I’ll get a lot of use out of the skirt (which is great since I hate to buy an outfit I’m going to wear once and then it sits in the closet). I am loving the seaweed color palette this season!

Beautiful Skirt!
Mine just arrived today and I love it. I am going to get a lot of wear out of this over the summer and beyond. It's light enough I can take it to Maui with me in November. I'm trying to find a top to go with it. I tried on a few of what I already have and I think it looks better with a more fitted top. So pretty.
