Habutai crushed silk dress
Dress looks and feels great. I’m short so it comes closer to my ankles- which is fine as I’m getting it for a more formal occasion.. crushed pleating is very flattering. I like the seaweed color- and the cropped sweater is perfect with it,

What a beautiful dress! I bought the seaweed color and it wears like a lovely twist on a basic black. Yes, it is expensive, but the dress is beautiful made and feels like a feather on. The matching slip adds to the luxurious feel. I do believe it is the most comfortable dress I have ever owned. It skims the body in the right places but without a lot of extra volume. I've gained some Covid weight this past year, but the dress is slimming and I feel great in it. I bought this for may granddaughter's garden wedding. I'll pair it with silver flat sandals. I think the dress is dressy enough for a wedding but equally as good for a casual dinner out. I anticipate getting lots of wear out of. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Well made dress
Very beautiful color. I normally am a size 16 pant and the medium fits but just brushes the hips. The matching lightweight cardigan runs big. I normally am a medium top, and should have ordered the cardigan in XS. This brand is expensive for the product, but it fits me well. Have 4 stars because of the high price

It’s a great dress….
I wore this dress for my son’s wedding— I love how unique and elegant it is. I chose the seaweed color which blended well with the grayed pastels most of the bridesmaids were wearing. My one complaint is that one of the straps on the slip broke early into the evening. I am 6’ tall, the length was almost mid calf and the medium size fit my 155 frame nicely.

A perfect dress for me!
This is a perfect dress for me: long enough to hit gracefully below the knee
on my 5’10” frame. I’m in my mid 70’s, weight appropriate, and the bodice part is lovely- cut in just a bit to reveal the shoulder, while the armhole is cut forgivingly high. The material is floaty and sexy. While it comes with a matching slip, I doubt I’ll use it. For context, I bought the medium and live in a town when even getting dressed up is pretty casual. I feel pretty and carefree wearing this.

Deceptively wonderfully simple
This is a great dress. It has a simple shape that flexes with you as you move. My daughter (18 y.o -- tough critic) thought it made me look slender (which has never happened before). It feels wonderful, moves beautifully and is extremely light. I bought the seaweed color (and I am not a green person) and like it a lot. The included slip could be worn on its own (by someone younger and slimmer than I). I plan to wear it with a long EF linen cardigan in black, or a long EF silk jacket also in black (from prior years). Both look stunning and polished. This can be a casual dress or a very formal dress. One request would be for EF to provide cleaning/washing instructions so that I can keep the "crinkled" texture of the dress after it is cleaned. I am afraid a dry cleaner would press it. Another plus -- it is completely packable. I might have to come back and buy the black one, too. I plan to use this for years and years.

I liked the dress, but it did not fit me in the bust. If you have a bust, I think it will not work too well.

Simple, elegant and comfortable
This dress feels like a cloud. Light and airy and so very comfortable. And packable if you happen to be traveling. The color is a good neutral, weirdly enough, and goes with any number of sweaters and shawls, but I chose to pair it with the Gossamer Organic Cotton Cardigan in the same Seaweed. Comes with a silk slip that has adjustable straps. Timeless style.

Little lady buys oversized dress and is happy!
I wanted a version of this dress that would be longer than it looks on the model. I am 4'11" so I ordered the dress in a regular small instead of my usual petite small size. The dress ends at my ankles which is just what I wanted... but the arm holes are actually too big for me, showing my bra. But I'm OK with this because I don't like to expose my bare arms, and intend to wear a jacket with the dress. It looks quite elegant in a 1915 moderne sort of way and I am quite happy with my purchase. The fabric and green color are fabulous. And it comes with it's own dyed to match slip!

Not as great as I'd hoped.....
I just got this, and it's really just OK. I think the price is obscene for what it is, and the dress is cute but not a show stopper. The neck is much higher than in the pictures, and the length is longer (I'm 5'6" with longer legs than torso), so it does look a bit frumpy. That said, it's comfortable so I might keep it....undecided at the moment. True to EF fit.
