I’m on the fence re: fit and care instructions
I LOVE the serpentine color and the way the fabric feels. I’m unsure of the fit, it seems kind of high under the arms and clings around the calves in a weird way. I’m top-heavy and chubby and think this might be giving me a reverse teardrop shape. The website describes the dress as machine wash (one of the reasons I got it) but the tag in the dress says sr clean only. Which is it?

Lovely color & material but a weird fit
The material and color were lovely -- exactly what I was looking for. But the fit of the dress in my typical EF size (small) was weird. It was too loose at the bustline and yet snug around the waist before falling straight at the legs. Not sure that a smaller size would have addressed the issue.

Need video of how to hand wash this.
I bought the silk version of this dress for my daughter's beach wedding and it was great. It fit well though I had it hemmed as I'm only 5'1". I am washing it now and do not know how to achieve the original crinkles in the dress. I washed it as it described but it does not seem to have retained some of that original look. Any hints would be appreciated.

I had high hopes for this dress, especially the color! The fabric is gorgeous and feels wonderful to touch, but the crinkles flatten in the chest and the dress itself clings in all the wrong places. I bought the new crinkled silk one instead. MUCH better!
