Rated 1 out of 5 by Jan S from Expands and loses shape as soon as you wear it Extremely disappointing top that looks lovely when it arrives with crinkles, but immediately starts to expand upon wear. Couldn't believe Eileen Fisher would sell an item with this terrible quality. Don't buy! I bought an expensive wool coat and skirt to go along with this item that caught my eye and the "star piece" is useless. Your colleagues will ask why you top is expanding. Ridiculous. I would give this a zero if possible. Says hand wash online, all wrinkles disappeared and I had to twist tightly while wet, pattern isn't like when you purchase and once you put it on again, the mess starts over. I love EF clothes, have a closet full, but this is a bad produce with quality issues

Rated 3 out of 5 by bhzm from Design problem (fixable) This garment is not wearable, as shipped. As shown in the first photo, the top, taken right out of the bag, is very narrow. This is not a problem for the shoulders/chest/waist, because the crinkled pleats expand when you wear it. However, it is problem in the lower part of the top where the slits are. There, the crinkling pulls together the fabric, leaving a small amount of hip exposed on either side, with the fabric forming a narrow apron-like flap in the front and the back (a problem even if I were to size up). Without intervention, this top looks decidedly odd. There is no evidence of this problem in the photos or video online. I fixed this by hanging the top sideways, using clothespins to add weight to the fabric below the slits. Overnight, the crinkles have stretched out, though I will have to continue the “treatment”, for more time. Probably by next week, when I plan to wear it, the top will look as it does in the on-line photos. On the plus side: I love the color, and the texture of the top. It will look great.

That aspect is IMPOSSIBLE to maintain after just a single gentle wash followed by light twist and flat drying. Only purchase if you are content with the flat finish after laundering
