Very soft at first - concerned about longevity
These socks were incredibly soft and comfortable when first worn - not too thick, not to thin, so they can be worn with oxfords, loafers etc. But after one long day's wear the socks were pilling heavily on the bottom - the black and cream stripe color began to look a muddy grey. I washed and hand dried for fear of shrinkage and they are dramatically different from the first wear, and no longer as soft. Too bad. I wont return the other pairs purchased as it is too much effort for some socks, but will not be purchasing again.
