This dress is a great nightgown, soft and breathable fabric. I really love it. Buy more than one because it would also serve as a casual style summer dress IF you size down. I am a solid EF size medium, but size small is much more flattering, less flowing fit.

Wonderfully comfortable night gown
The fabric is soft and cozy, warm enough for a chilly night. It's cut generously so it doesn't bind in your sleep. EF calls it a dress, but it's really the most comfortable night gown I've ever owned. I own two and I may buy another one.

I bought two of these in Cases and the dark red, plus the same colors in the sleeveless version. Yes, I love the gown that much. My old EF nightgowns were of a lighter and more fragile fabric but I kept wearing them because the cotton was so comfortable, and the other manufacturer I tried was simply not as pleasant or well fitting. Thank you, EF, for these lovely "dresses" I can wear to sleep.

Comfortable sleepwear
The fabric is very soft and the dress is very comfortable to sleep in. This is a large boxy style. I was worried the large might be too big (I generally wear a medium top and large pant) but it fits beautifully, especially after washing and drying.

Heavenly Comfort
This might not look like much right out of the box, but it’s pure pleasure to sleep in (and relaxes into an attractive drape after a night or two). The cut is genius—neckline never twists, body doesn’t constrict, bracelet sleeves don’t interfere with face-washing or coffee prep, and mid-calf length doesn’t trip up the wearer. Would EF ever consider making this style in the waffle-knit for winter and/or an undyed version? Whatever the answer, I’ll be buying more, in pink.

This is the nightgown I've been looking for years! Nice coverage, mid-calf, good weight, washes well, very soft, doesn't shrink. I like the dark color for when I am traveling with friends and family, and wish to be more discreet.

Bracelet sleeves -- ugh
Why, oh why, can't EF make full-length sleeves? I am so tired of these bracelet-length sleeves, which on me look like the item is simply too small or it shrunk in the wash. A full-length sleeve is preferable in a "cozy cotton gown" for winter!

I ordered the "dress" in pink and use it as a nightgown. I ordered my usual size for tops and dresses (Medium). The fit is perfect and will ample room. The fabric is soft and midweight for all season use. I wish there were more pastel/toned down colors. Washes and dries well.
