couldn't find a fit
I have bought two pairs of these in different sizes. I have in the past purchased the Boyfriend jean and have been happy with them. These just don't hang the same. They seem to be meant to fit below the waist which doesn't work for larger women. I think the quality of the jean is fine, nice fabric and well made but I was surprised at the fit. My local store closed so for me to go shop somewhere is a trip and chances of finding something in a store in a larger size is usually impossible too. So I have become friends with the man at the Pack and Ship..

I like the small pockets
Please don't change to patch pockets, that's a whole different look. I like the classic jean style and it's perfect that the pockets aren't big, as they would give a bulky look. These give the right classic look. Patch pockets can be a separate pair of jeans. I would never put anything in the pockets of any pants (except a Kleenex, which then goes in the wash, so thank you for too small pockets).

These Jeans fit and look good!
These jeans are great, and I really appreciate the petite sizing, so I don't have to fix them right off the bat. I agree with other reviews in that the pockets are worthless. Make them so that they are useful or leave them off!

Could have been perfect!
There are so many things I love about these jeans. They are absolutely straight legged- a nice break from lantern or wide legged shapes. (Although, the legs are generously cut.) It’s a beautiful wash that I’d describe as a mid tone denim with just enough wear. The fit is very comfortable and quite flattering.
Everything is perfect except for the front pockets. As others have written, they are far too small to be practical. Putting anything in them would just add bulk to a nice, flat front. Patch pockets would have made these jeans perfect.
I’ll keep them. If the pockets bug me too much, I’ll take the jeans to a tailor to be sewed shut.

Soft Fabric, Great Color
This denim is soft and the color is a pretty medium blue. I ordered this jean in my usual PS. They fit well but the fabric is so stretchy that I'm afraid they'll end up too lose. So I'm trying a PP, hoping it holds its shape. The straight leg is appealing, not too slim but not baggy. I'm just over 5" tall and the length was fine for me. As another reviewer said, the pockets are too small. I appreciate that EF offers lots of Petite pants but with there were more Petite tops to wear with them.

Great Fabric and Fit!
I agree with the below comments about the small front pockets. Almost returned them, but put them on today for a second time and felt the fit and fabric more than compensated. Will carry my phone in my rear pocket or use a phone bag to add lipstick and

Worthless front pockets
Great jean shape and fabric but with the most ridiculously tiny front pockets. I can maybe put two coins in one. Not my hand, not a lipstick, certainly not a phone.

WOW!
these jeans fit like a glove right out of the bag! I am between a PM and PL after some weight loss and purchase the PM expecting them to be tight and need some breaking in. They fit fantastic! Rise is perfect , length is great ( even I'm 5 feet) although below my ankle. I have loved this denim fabric combo for years and in fact bought several pairs of jeans on the Renew site that had this fabric blend from years past. More please!
